"Very good standard 4 star hotel
Miles from anywhere though so transport needed"

"All good great hotal at an excellent price. Top holiday!"

"We enjoyed our stay very much. Travel Republic assisted with arranging for a taxi to meet our 10.30pm flight on arrival and this was waiting for us without any problems. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. This being from cleaning staff to waiters to management. The hotel was very clean and has many evening activities to keep you entertained. If you desired you could spend your whole holiday at the resort as the private beach and swimming pool allow you to relax and enjoy the lovely weather without going any further. The Kreston Palace had a very convenient bus stop located just outside the hotel which went directly to Rhodes, Filaraki or Lindos and also local taxis waited across the road which could take you to any destination for a fairly good price."

"Hi all,
Being Greek, this was my fifth time on Rhodes, so I know a few things that I can tell you. However, I won't tire you with too much detail, so I'll just state the advantages and disadvantages of the hotel. We stayed in the hotel (me and my girlfriend, both greek) 12-18 jul 2007.
Advantages :
1. Great animation team (Italian) who speak 4 languages and you'll have plenty to do during the day by the swimming pool (darts, water polo, water gymanastics and many more)
2. Very nice swimming pool ideal for kids, as the depth does not exceed 1.40 m
3. Excellent food and great variety
4. Shows etc. on the terrace outside the reaustarant every night including a greek night (a bit too touristy for us being greek)
5. Friendy staff and very helpfull. My girlfrind had a headache one day and the swimming pool barman gave me his own aspirins!
Disadvantages :
1. Our room had only 1 plug!!!(Grarder view - twin). So imagine how difficult it was with 3 mobile phones and a hairdryer.
2. Room was fairly basic for a 4 * hotel and the hotel's hairdryer was useless (take your own ladies)
3. Very crowded reaustarant between 20:00 - 21:00, so go about 9 or before 8 if you dont want to wait in the queue.
4. Few palm trees (the best seats that have shade all day) in the swimming pool, so my advice is wake up early, leave your towels on the deck chairs to reserve them kind of way and then go for breakfast.
5. No pool bar at night.
6. Beach is nice but rocky inside the sea, so take a pair of swimming shoes if you want to swim in the sea.
Al in all a very nice and relaxing holiday. Rent a car and drive around to see the lovely beaches the island has to offer . Try Prasonisi beach and Lindos which are the best, and also visit the seven srpings (durning the day) which is a lovely location with a little river, caves etc. (reaustarant there for refreshments and lunch if you want. A must is the butterfly valley!!!!
Thats all for now - have a great holiday!
Cheers KD
Must go and visit the Old town as it is lovely (prefer night as the lightining is great)"

"We wished we were told that we would be the only british people there, when taking a child it is difficult when all families were from other countries. I would not call it a hotel it was more like apartments. The food was cold at dinner and the pool lunches were limited. My son also got food poisoning and wasn't the only guest to do so. We found the staff weren't helpful to us and didn't really speak to us, preferred other nationalities and didn't cater for the British, all entertainment was done in German and Italian. I wouldn't recommend it."
