"Entirely enjoyed our stay. I would say the hotel is more appropriate for families.
Friendly efficient personal. Excellent food."
Top Tip:
"An English Pub opposite the hotel is definetely an escape for "tired" fathers in the evening. Especially when football is on."

"Very clean hotel, some facilities not avalable due to it being near the end of the tourist season. Food was very good, with a wide range of options and something for everyone. Would definately return, a very nice environment for a family break.

The hotel beach was a little disappointing, but the great gardens and pool area made up for it, however, the beached area is great if you want to escape the pool/garden area and be away from the noise. Somewhat off the main road, so local ameneties a bit of a walk. Close to Rhodes town (15 mins by taxi).

As the hotel is only 15 minutes from the airport, you do get low flying aircraft, but as it was nearly the end of the season, this wasn't a major issue, however, I imagine it may be a bit irritating during the peak season."
Top Tip:
"If you have children and want to see all that the island has to offer, it's best to hire a car. Taxi's, buses and boats are available to most of the major towns, but timings can be a bit difficult, and taxi's are expensive to the major sites (Lindos, Monolithus), so a car would be advisable.

There are lot of local car rental businesses, and you can save some money by avoiding the large name, airport based firms."

"WE READ ALOT OF TRIP ADVISOR COMMENTS SO WE WERE AWARE OF GOOD/BAD.
I HAVE TO SAY WE COULD NOT FIND FAULT WITH THIS HOTEL THE WHOLE 10 DAYS. THE MANAGER AND ALL HIS STAFF ARE TO BE CONGRATULED ON EXCELLANT SERVICE AND ATTITUDE. I HAVE TO ADD THAT WE WENT OUT OF SEASON WHICH SUITED US FINE.

This superb hotel is situated just 9 km away from the historical city centre, right on the magnificent sandy beach of the gulf of Ialyssos, on the northwest side of the island. Moreover, it features a variety of facilities than can satisfy even the most demanding guests, including 3 restaurants and 2 bars. The Electra Palace Rhodes is about 6 km away from the airport and also about 20 km away from the Afandou Golf Club.
