(1 Review)"George runs a very straightforward apartment setup at the Oceanis, the rooms are OK, in fact very good by the 'old' Greek standard, but this depends on where you end up! For the first two nights we were in a room downstairs that was surrounded by the buildings around and therefore it was dark and offered no view whatsoever. When we were moved, not at our behest but because George wanted to put us in a nicer room, we had a really good room with a balcony. The second room was bright and more recently decorated, but it still had the entertaining 'build quality' where the kitchen unit was concerned. Both rooms had showers that were fine - the second one had a window - and both had good air conditioning and fridges. The second room is one that we will be asking for again when we return, the first one would be OK for a short stay."

(2 Reviews)"I booked 7 days a the Arion Hotel & 3 Days at The Doryssa Bay Hotel, we enjoyed these hotels and were delighted to have stayed in both hotels and will provide a review of each which is very positive. However the 3 Days at the Kerkis Bay Hotel At Ormas Samos were far from satisfactory. Booking Half Board was a complete waste of money. Plus the room was sub standard with a clapped out fan in an inside bathroom which had an unpleasant smell. The Manager was inhospitable and a choice of food not on the agenda. Guests who booked Half Board were treated as second class residents. The breakfast buffet was lacking in imagination but was positevly exciting compared to the evening meal. My suggestion is that The Kerkis Bay employees visit our other two Samos Hotels and observe how to welcome and treat customers. More importantly when a hotel offers a high quality restaurant facility which was the selling point in the description of The Kerkis Bay Hotel, an evening meal without choice consisting of a plate of green beans followed by meat balls & chips with dessert of a dollop of ice cream is just not good enough. Ormas has better restaurants than the Kerkis Bay Hotel Tavern Restaurant and I cannot recommend this hotel."
