(1 Review)"Overall I enjoyed my stay at the Aegean Suites hotel. The suite was well presented, nicely furnished and roomy. For a boutique hotel, the facilities were what I expected -not much to do at all in terms of hotel entertainment so really just the bar which closes at 11.00 p.m. but I didn't expect much more. Staff were polite and courteous and as accommodating as they could be so no problem there at all. The centre of town is within walking distance or a very short taxi ride away. The hotel is situated across the road from a beach but it does not have it's own private beach section although you can visit their sister hotel for private beach facilities and there are plenty of local beaches within a short distance of the hotel by local bus. The pool area is good for sunbathing, although there are not enough beds to accommodate all guests so there is a chance that you would not get a place round the pool in the busy season but if you don't mind heading off to one of the beaches if that happened then it wouldn't be a problem. One word of warning, this hotel, as advertised, is built into the hillside so if you are on the 3rd or 4th floor it is quite a climb up some reasonably steep stairs to reach your suite. I had a suite on the 3rd floor and had to climb 138 steps to reach it(yes, I counted them!) so it's not ideal for anyone who cannot manage that but fine if you're spritely enough to get up and down the steps. Unfortunately my trip was really ruined by bad weather with half of the hols in pouring rain so I would warn people that the weather in September in Skiathos can be changeable and it can be very disappointing to spend your precious holiday time in bad weather. Normally the weather in September in Skiathos is okay but do be aware that isn't always guaranteed. Out of my 14 night stay I only benefited from approx 6 days of sunshine. The rest of the time was cloudy or raining. Not the hotels fault of course but with it being a boutique hotel, there is not a great deal to do there when the sun isn't shining. My only negative on the hotel would have to be the gym facilities. As a gym goer I was pleased to see the hotel advertised a gym however, the facility is very small and the equipment is dated and in very poor condition to the extent that they would be better off not to advertise that they have gym facilities at all but if the gym is not important to you it is not a problem. I have stayed in more luxurious 5 star hotels so if you have stayed previously in 5 star or 5 star delux elsewhere in the world, this hotel may not quite match up to it but overall it was a pleasant place to stay and I would go back there if I was staying in Skiathos in the future."

(5 Reviews)"Aria Hotel was just as we had hoped it would be, the pool and terrace area were great with amazing views. The rooms are nice but the balcony is very open so not much privacy. we were fortunate to have a sea view but it was through two buildings.....ideal location for the beach and Skiathos town (Chora)"
