  • "We had a wonderful time @ Filoxenia. It is a family run hotel and their hospitality is second to none, they are lovely people. All food in their restaurant is home cooked and at the highest quality.
    Rooms are cleaned daily by friendly and helpful staff.

    I and my sister would recommend this hotel 100% and will be going again next year and probably for many yeas to come."

    "There is a new crockery/pottery shop across the road from the hotel and is a family run business. All items are made and created on the premises so is pleasing to know that you are supporting the local community."

  • "A great place for a family holiday. Superb for young kids. The two pools, the large gardens and mini golf were ideal for keeping the younger ones occupied.

    There isn't a lot going on in the resort, so it might not appeal to those looking for nightlife, although for those willing to travel/explore a bit by car, it would be a great base away from the excesses of Faliraki etc...

    The beach, although nearby, isn't a great one. It is a mixture of sand and pebbles, but it is by no means bad and at least it was quiet!"

    "The local restaurants were all pretty good, but the small restaurant at the Sea View Apartments was the best overall. The Barbeque at the Filoxenia on the Saturday night, whilst expensive, was truly excellent and well worth the extra expense."

  • "Great family here,very good to us.Very clean rooms,pool etc...Food at hotel all home cooked, no buffet. Best meat balls I have EVER had!! Nearby restaurants all good.Beach 6 mins. walk. If you want a non stop dance party pull anything on 2 legs clubbing till 7 a.m.type holiday DO NOT COME HERE!!! If you want to chill,relax and watch the sunset then I would recommend this lovely place! August'08."

  • "Just retured from the Filoxenia and had a lovely relaxing time with my wife and 2 children aged 11 and 8. Apartments were very clean with lovely gardens, pool area, play area and crazy golf. I can't fault the Filoxenia at all and it was very, very quiet. No need to scamble for sunbeds and the poolside taverna was excellent. The owner Nicos, Evangelina and their son Mike couldn't be more helpful. Would recommend these apartments to anyone looking for a lovely quite holiday. Only negative is watch out for air con charge, 11 euros a day (2 rooms) is quite pricey."

    "Billys restaurant and Mikes had great food and friendly service - only 5 minutes walk away.
    Regular bus to Rhodes town and Romeo restaurant had good food, not too expensive and lively atmosphere."

Apartment Details - Filoxenia Tholos Apartments, Tailor Made Holiday

The Filoxenia Apartments are situated on the edge of the village of tholos near the doreta beach hotel complex. The nearest beach is approximately 500 metres away. Theologos, or Tholos as it is also known, is on the north western coast of Rhodes with a small selection of shops, bars, restaurants and tavernas based around the main area.
