  • "we were the only two guests in the hotel. Although the propieters were very nice we felt really alone as there was no one else to interact with. It would have been a good idea to be told before we travelled that we were going to be the only ones staying in this hotel, and a possibility of moving hotels even though this may have resulted in an extra cost. Although nothing to do with the hotel, there was absolutely nothing to do in the resort as all the trips and tours were finished the week before we went, and even in Zakynthos town they had all finished as well, but nothing was mentioned that there was a possibility that the trips would be finished and the shops and restaurants would be closing on a daily basis. Another point we should like to mention is that the public transport service is practically non existent, as the buses only run about one every two hours, so a hire car is more or less essential, which again was not mentioned anywhere during the booking process."
