"On a 4 night stay dissapointed to spend only 2 nights at Atlas Medina Spa Hotel
1st 2 nights in Hotel over the Road no reason given . English was understood more than I expected."

"We stayed at the Atlas Medina & Spa Hotel in Marraketch. It is not a 5 star hotel. We were put in a room that stank of drains and had to move rooms. We opted for half board which was good value The breakfasts were fairly good, but the dinners were limited in choice. The weather for end of Oct. early Nov. was cool (14 deg C)and quite wet and we should have taken coats. The swimming pool is not heated and very few people dared to go in. On the positive side, the hotel staff were friendly and generally helpful and the centre of Medina is only a short taxi ride (20-30Dms)"

"It's a nice hotel but definitely not 5* service as far as UK ratings go. The lounge area and breakfast were impressive. The spa cost as much as UK spa's, so relatively expensive. It was a scenic walk to the new medina. Not good if you are unable to walk much and the taxi's are harder to negotiate with from here."

"The hotel was good and although in the first room we were given the air conditioning didn't work they moved us to another. It is worth having a room which faces the pool/garden and was nice sitting out on the balcony. The food was very good with a large buffet of soup, salads, hot meals and desserts every evening and I would recommend half board as it doesnt cost much more. Drinks at the hotel bar are very expensive though."

"Keep away from the salad, ice and tap water..... wife and I both suffering from severe diarrhoea one week after coming home, and there were other guests clearly also suffering."
