"This hotel is about 10 minutes taxi ride from the Medina in a residential district.

The hotel was clean but dull and uninviting. They did not appear to have our reservation and this took a bit of time to sort out, luckily I had the booking confirmation documentation with me.

The reception staff were sullen and unwelcoming, never smiling.

I would not recommend this hotel and would suggest a better grade hotel, nearer to the Medina. It was very disappointing after such a lovely stay in Essaouria."

"I was staying in this hotel in 10 days with my partner and we really enjoyed our stay very much, we would recomend this hotel to anyone.

The staff in hotel were very friendly and nice, the guys in reception speak very good english and they always smilling and are helpful.

Hotel arranges some daily different trip, try to take advantage of one or two, its very worth it. We went to Essaouira through the hotel, a place you really have to visit, otherwise it's a big lose if you travell to Morocco and not seeing this city."

"The hotel is clean and comfortable,the bar is good.have a drink before you go out ,as this may be the only alcahol you can get! The food left a little to be desired,! we would do B&B next time.The hotel is too far away from main square to walk, taxi is a must.although they are cheap enough."

"A good clean 3 star hotel situated in a pleasant area.Breakfast (NOT QUITE CONTINENTAL)consists of various types of bread with cheese,jam and butter with tea,coffee and mixed orange juice.
Evening meals are well prepared by an excellent dedicated chef and presented buffet`style .
Hotel is close to a supermarket ,a pharmacy and a nice fruit/vegetable shop with very helpful and friendly young assistants."

"The hotel was not upto the standard. On the first day, there was no towels in the bathroom though a quick call rectified the problem. Someone used our rooms while we were away, leaving an ashtray full of cigarretes and a bed crumpled. The front doors did not lock properly and we were always edgy of the possibility of the door being left open. The breakfast served, on many days were stale breads and smelly butters. The crockeries were no good either, half of them chipped and broken. The money exchange at the reception is a definate no-no. You are quoted much below the bank rates, and we had to show them the bank slip for money converted elsewhere to prove the current rates. The airconditioning in the room was not working and a closer look at the switch revealed a dummy connection with the cable trunk empty of cables!!! A deceptive set-up. Not recommended."
