"The hotel appartments were in an excellent position right opposite a fabulous beach and near to lots of great restaurants serving locally caught fish and seafood. The local speciality 'Pork and Clams' was superb.

"The apartments were comfortable and clean, with maid service every day and the location was fantastic, you actually heard the waves when you were in your bed. Plenty of restaurants within 2 minutes walking distance, all good."

"2nd time at the Algar hotel,nothing is too much trouble with the staff.nice splash pool and relaxing area on the roof,and the beach is only across the street!"

"good restaurants are O FERNANDO and O WALTER.THERE IS A REALLY GOOD SCENIC WALK ALONG THE CLIFF TOPS.WALK TO THE END OF THE BEACH ON THE RIGHT(ALONG THE PAVEMENT),THERE YOU WILL FIND A DIRT ROAD LEADING TO THE FOOTPATH ALONG THE CLIFFS,WHICH LEAD DOWN TO SMALLER BEACHES AND COVES.MANY BEAUTIFULL FLOWERS,HERBS,SEABIRDS ETC,TAKE YOUR CAMERA!"Algar Apartments check-in Date:
