"clean but basic.needed a coat of paint in the room.could have done with a proper kettle it took 20mins to boil"

"good standard of holiday accommodation, rooms clean and well equipped. Best to stay on higher floors as balconies are quieter and more private. Ideally suituated for both beach and resort facilities, only a 2 minute walk to both. Breakfast OK, plenty of it but boring after the first day or two."
Top Tip:
"The beach straight down from the hotel is excellent, golden sands which stretch for miles in both directions. The first beach cafe you come to (on the left of the first beach walkway) is very good. Fresh food and good prices. You must have a trip over on the ferry from Villa Real to Ayamonte in Spain. This is a wonderful little Spanish town with no signs of mass tourism."Alba Hotel check-in Date:

"As I work for a holiday company I booked this hotel for my son and myself with great trepidition knowing the difficulties that can be experienced with holidays booked on line, but I was most pleasantly surprised. The hotel is in an excellent position close to the beach, supermarkets, and all bars and restaurants without actually being in the hub of things so no noise!! The room allocated us was spacious and clean with a good sized seperate bathroom/shower. A small corner kitchen included all that was necessary to do light meals if wanted, and a good size balcony made it very pleasant to sit outside. Our room was cleaned every day and even though there were stated times for towel changes, ours were changed daily. Staff were friendly (especially the female staff) all in all a good hotel, one to which we will return again."
Top Tip:
"All the restaurants that we eat at were good, with very litle variation in the prices, the Monte Gordo restaurant was perhaps the best in service and their rice with sea food dish for two was excellent. The paid beach straight down from the hotel was only 3 euros a day for a bed or 5 with Umberella and kept very clean, there was a good cafe "New Wave" with great food at its entrance and the beach bar on the beach itself was brilliant. Extremely friendly staff, good prices a fun bar with the owner passing out lots of different cooked shellfish amongst the clients during the day for them to try! A bar to sit and enjoy the atmosphere even up untill early evening (7pm is a perfect time on the beach to enjoy a glass of wine or a cold beer)!!"Alba Hotel check-in Date:
