  • "Travelled to Calheta in November. Hotel about 50mins from Funchal airport. Hotel staff very welcoming and friendly and it was easy to find as it is the only one in Calheta and sits on the man made beach. Not much in the way of things to do in the evening, but hotel had entertainment every night which was ok, but nothing stunning. Hotel had indoor pool, sauna, steam room which were all free to use. Rooms clean and made up every day. A nice place for a relax...not a place for excitement."
