  • "October 08: All rooms are spacious and well furnished with a full sea view. Due to quiet location and warm weather we left our double doors to the balcony open all night. Hot buffet breakfast was varied and of good quality. Staff were obliging and helpful. Pool was warm, although not large. However, the protected marina just across the small road from the Hotel provided lovely swimming despite the stony beach. Would recommend hiring car as lots to see around Madeira and local transport links not so well developed outside Funchal. Hotel has ample underground parking."
