  • "The Sao Jorge bungalows are in a spectacular location.Views from our room over the cliffs were amazing.It is rather isolated so you will need a car, but it is a peaceful,quiet spot.The accomodation is adequate but would benefit from an update. Although clean and functional,the decor and bathroom equipment is a little jaded, and the pool and general surrounds have been neglected a bit.Breakfast was only average, but the restaurant was very good for dinner and reasonably priced.There were no other local alternatives.If you are looking for a modern luxury off the peg hotel, you won't find it here, but this place was a different experience and I would recommend a couple of nights stay, a full week might be too long!"
