  • "Lovely hotel, friendly staff and food is good, especially breakfast. It is close to the old town and just across the road from the poniente beach, and our room had a balcony with sea view which was really nice. The only complaint we had is that there was a 3 euro charge for the sauna. Would definately recommend"

    "Chinese Restaurant across from the dove park - great food and value for money. Solid Rock pub up near the church with friendly hosts Kenny and Theresa."

  • "Our first time at the Corona Del Mar, we would definately reccommend it. Good food, friendly staff and our room was very spacious and spotlessly clean. Clean towels everday. Our only complaint was the entertainment was no where near as good as the rest of the hotel! Unless you like parotts and bingo that is!"

    "Markets at La Finestrat and benidorm centre are worth a look.
    Tiara's and the rich bitch were worth a visit at night for something different!"

  • "We were there over the Christmas period. The hotel was lovely and spotlessly clean. The rooms are very spacious. We had a sea view and it is worth paying the extra. We wouldn't have liked a view over anywhere else. The food was O.K. but a little the same.
    At that time of year it is full of older couples so is not really suitable for families or young people. The entertainment was also geared towards the older age group."

    "Poniente Beach is lovely. It is much quieter than Levante Beach."

  • "The Corona Del Mar Hotel is clean, comfortable and has consistently good food over the three years we have been there. Each year we see exactly the same staff in reception and in the dining room which is a positive indicator that management can effectively retain good staff. We celebrated a family birthday and the hotel provided champagne and a cake free of charge, which was a lovely touch.
    Worth paying for a sea view room in winter months as on cooler days you can use the sunny balcony but shelter from a cool wind, plus the seaview beats looking out the back of the hotel.
    There was noise from the adjacent hotel due to a refurbishment but it did not impact on our stay.

    Would have no qualms in recommending this hotel to anyone wanting to be very near the Poniente beach and to the old town."

    "Take the open top bus for a ride round the whole resort to get your bearings. The local markets are on a Wednesday morning and give a change of scenery."

Opened in 1998, the Hotel Corona del Mar has recently been awarded the quality distinction of the Institute for Spanish Hotel Quality and also the Excellence in Kitchen Hygiene distinction. Certificates: Q for Quality, EMAS for Environmental Management, ISO 14001 for Environmental Management, Q Green for Environmental Management and Kitchen Excellence and Hygiene. Prime location next to the Poniente beach and close to the Elche park, the hotel offers numerous facilities to help you enjoy your stay to the maximum.

Accommodation

Twin rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, heating, hair-dryer, telephone, satellite TV, radio, mini-bar (local charge), balcony and safety deposit boxes (local charge). Baby cots are available free of charge and on request. Some doubles standard rooms are without a balcony.

Food & Beverage

Facilities include bar-lounge and restaurant with buffet service.

Sports & Leisure

There are an outdoor swimming pool, children’s swimming pool, whirlpool (outdoor), slide, indoor swimming pool, whirlpool (indoor), sauna, fitness centre, massage. Additionally offered are pool table, table tennis, internet facilities and children’s playground. Hotel staff provides guests with entertainment program.

Facilities & Services

Conference room (capacity 80 pax), parking, disabled facilities, highchairs for children and air conditioning. Also there is a piano player and free wireless.

Located 53 km from Alicante airport, 143 km from Murcia airport and 152 km from Valencia airport. Town Centre: immediate vicinity; Poniente Beach: 80m; Elche Park: 250m; Public Parking: 400m. Golf Course: 2.5 kilometres













Please Note

Please note that some building works are taking place near Corona del Mar. Works affect the pool area and the pool view rooms of the hotel. Woking hours are from 8 am to 8 pm. Some disturbance might be experienced. Completion date is estimated to be end of April 2009. The management will not allocate guests in those rooms in order to avoid any inconvenience.
