hotel was compact but the rooms were quite spacious

Beautiful Hotel, nice big room, v comfortable bed and excellent standard hygiene throughout. Staff v polite, effficient and helpful.
Facilities: Pools v clean and pretty well kept gardens, largest good for length swimming but v cold as not heated. Plenty of sunbeds and towels provided. Free Sauna and jacuzi lovely and nice steam room but not v hot. Massage treatments expensive. Gym looked small with limited range equip, shut for repairs during our stay but opened as we left.
Entertainment: Some varied and talented musicians most nights in main foyer but not much atmosphere pos due to seating layout being far from stage area. More relaxing than exciting.
Theres another bar with disco type music but we didnt try that.
Bar:Excellent Irish coffee, lg range cocktails and draught San Miguel. A bit expensive tho.
Food: Good breakfast choice but limited eve meal choice for vegetarians, often no protein choice except cheese. Also no info on whether cheese or deserts vegetarian. Food ok but nothing special.
Location:Excellent, v close shops, bars, restaurants. But all very touristy. Free bus to Dunes with wonderful beach if you are young and active but no loungers or cafes for older people to sit there. Local beach near harbour looked like had loungers but didnt try them.
Dunas are beautiful. well worth seeing. Driving is easy with plenty of car rental choices about 30 Euro inc for a day=cheaper than a bus tour.

excellant hotel 2 large pools onsite supermarket rooms spacious and kept clean by regular maid service not a lot of entertainment at night but we prefer to go out in the evening
go to the harbour area at night (10 MIN. WALK )some fantastic restuarants
