"The room was comfortable and spacious. The noise from nearby restaurants and bars was not disturbing as the music usually ended by midnight. However, this could be a problem if you like an early night."

"I was quite surprised with this hotel. I have been to Corralejo 4 times now and stayed at a different hotel each time. I must have walked past this and never noticed it. You are dropped off on the main street and wonder where the hotel is. It is actually round the corner behind the shops. Although it is very central....it is also very very quiet. We usually go to the beach when we are there to get some peace from screaming kids (not that i dont like them) but we only went to the beach twice due to the calming quite hue around the pool. So, so quiet. You didnt dare speak!!! It was quite refreshing. The pool bar serves great value lunches...a triple decker toastie with chips/salad is only E3.50!! The staff on reception are extremely helpful, having an english and a german receptionist as well as the spanish ones. So its great if you prefer to speak your native tongue. The rooms are very spacious and the balconies large and well equipped. You get a tv, fridge, hairdryer, super king comfy bed, even a bottle of wine to greet you. Never had that before. The breakfasts were average. Enough choice for everyone but we didnt fancy fish fingers or tuna for breakfast and the bacon is typical spanish...streaky and underdone. But plenty of toast, yogs, fruit,
cereals,,,,etc. I would definitely go back due to the location, friendliness of the staff and lovely rooms. We got room 251 which is at the back and you get views of the ferry terminal going to lanzarote, so you can watch them coming and going. The hotel has a courtesy bus that leaves on a morning at 10am and 11am to the big beach further down the coast which is stunning. It returns at 4pm and 5pm. You just book your ticket at reception before 9.30am. Take along a travel kettle as there is none in the room. You can hire a toaster or iron."Top Tip:
"Over the road is the English pubs, which also has a fish and chip shop. They were really nice. The pubs are loud and some tacky, so if you dont like them, steer clear. You cant hear the noise in the hotel though. Try the Slow Boat chinese restaurants...really lovely food. The La Trattoria restaurant in the precinct serves gorgeous Italian food although the service can be a bit slow. If you like live music there is the Rock Bar over the road with live gigs every night and also Rock Island Bar down a side street just past Mango. It has live acts on and a web cam so you watch them when you get back home. See the on www.rockislandbar.com. Really good live acts. Some lovely restarants on the sea front. There are a couple of time share touts on the outskirts of the town, so if you are offered a scratchcard..politely say no. Also, a word of advice.....dont go out into town in the early hours of the morning on your own, as there has been a few muggings of late by the Morrocans that have gone over there. They are spoiling it for the locals who dont like them. Dont feel afraid to go by that comment as it is lovely and safe for you and your children, but be sensible as you would anywhere!! If you want shopping, dont use the local Netto's, you will pay far more!! Go to the back of the resort near the bus station and there is a large supermarket and one in the middle of the resort called hiperdino. Much cheaper and more choice. "Very clean, very friendly and helpful staff, very quiet peaceful hotel so more suitable for people who want a chilled holiday but bars and restaurants on your doorstep if you want something more lively. It did have a pool side bar which was very quiet in the evenings but nice and relaxing. There was little entertainment at the bar but I think this is because the bar was quiet. Very good breakfast which included fry up, eggs, bacon, fruits, continental, cereal, toast etc which varied each day. Maid service every day. The gym and jacuzzi wasn't very impressive though - in need of modernising. If you go as a family would recommend you book a room with 2 bedrooms as the lounge area (settees go into beds) is in with the double bed so you and kids are in one room for the whole holiday!!!"
Top Tip:
"If you have kids or teenagers (or you are an adult who likes big slides!) BAKU waterpark is walking distance from the hotel. It is expensive to get in but fun and there is also a zoo there with a seal show, aquarium with sharks and a pirate show. We liked Waikiki bar down by the beach - expensive but served lovely cocktails. There was a nice steak house down that road as well but forgot the name."Atlantis Dunapark Hotel check-in Date:

Atlantis Dunapark is a small, friendly and warm 4 star hotel, located in Corralejo, ideal for those looking for relaxing sun and sea holidays, away from the crowds. It is comprised of two modern 2-storey buildings, offering a total of spacious 79 accommodations, which are built among marvellous gardens. Guests may enjoy the hotels outstanding facilities that include a restaurant for a buffet breakfast, a pool side snackbar and swimming pool. The beach of Corralejo is just 100 m away, the town centre only 50 m away and the airport 36 km away. Please note that: - Each guest will have free bus tickets to and from the beaches - Late check out (until 18.00) is allowed upon extra charge (15EUR per person), payable locally to the hotel During the Euro 2008 period (7-29/06), a TV will be set at the cafeteria for those guests who want to watch the matches there.
