Great hotel, large rooms, good fresh food, friendly staff.
The only negative is that it would be good to have more english TV channels.

The monkey park at Los Christianos and a boat teip to see whales/dolphins at Los Gigantes are must do's.

The only good things about this hotel are the rooms and the view from the balconies! We found the staff to be less than pleasant and asking for drinks at the pool bar was very difficult as they did not seem to understand English all that well. The pool bar was supposed to open at 11am but was opened late every morning and closed at least 10 minutes before its published time of 6pm - not such a problem if there was another bar to use - but the one in the very dingy reception area did not open until 8pm - this bar was supposed to be open until 11pm, however the staff always closed early at least 10 - 15 minutes each night, you cannot then get a drink at all! When we insisted that they serve us at 10.50pm one night the girl on the bar entered into a very nasty argument with my father! You are also not allowed to have a proper glass in the reception bar only plastic ones. The 'entertainment' during our entire stay was a parrot show on only one night and very loud 'Disco Music' for all the other nights - which everyone said was too loud but the management insisted on playing!
Needless to say I would not go to this hotel again and would not recommend it to anyone!
