"This hotel is definateley not 4*. Its very dated and tired. The reception staff are rude and abrupt and wont help you with anything at all (even confirming transfers which is important). I really feel that they do not like brits this was evident from the moment we arrived. I also witnessed the bad treatment of an older customer who had lost his room key and was treated with utter contempt by the reception staff. The food is quite nice but a lot is rehashed into other meals. It's pot luck in the restaurant really. Fortunately the waiters and the restaurant manager are in complete contrast to the reception staff or else it would not have been tolerable. The corridors are badly lit, and most importantly for families with children the staircase leads directly to the flat roof with an open door and no lock and the wall at the edge is only 2 ft high with approx 80ft drop!! All in all this is not a nice hotel if you have a choice take it!!!"

"My first 'stay' stay this hotel after regular visits previously to Port El Kantaoui - much better facilities and assistance from the staff here than at any other hotel I have previously used in Tunisia"

"Just arrived back form our stay in the Vinnci El Kantaoui Hotel. Ok its not 4* it is more 3* Rooms were spacious and clean but self catering facilities poor. Staff very helpfull and friendly especially waiters and bar staff {maybe the tipping helps} Hotel itself very clean bit out dated re decoration. Pool area was good lots of sunbeds and relaxing. Private beach very small and busy{ Not able to get a sunbed after 12 oclock. Evening entertainment in the bar was poor started at about 22:30 hours. It ranged from a Tunisian singer attempting to sing like Ronan Keating to a 1980s type Magician, not forgetting the quiz, and Tunisian music night. Breakfast was ok, mostly cereals, bread, cheeses, boiled eggs, all buffet style. Hotel in excellent location, beach 5 minute walk, and the port 10 minute walk. Overall it was value for money. Stayed in nicer hotels but paid alot more. If you want perfection then this is not the hotel for you. If you want an average hotel in good location which is clean and presentable then I would reccomend it."

"hotel was ok but have stayed in much nicer hotels in tunisia, food on the weekends was poor but better in the week"
