When I arrived at Dalaman airport and went to get my transfer to the hotel there was a bit of a mixup as previously I always got a shuttle bus to the Asena Hotel this time though the guy was saying that I wasnt on his list.I got into a bit of a panic and thought Id be stuck but he let me on the shuttle bus anyway after a long debate. When I was leaving the Asena hotel to go back to the airport a taxi car picked me up then dropped me off to connect with a shuttle bus in the next town. This journey in the taxi was a bit scary to say the least as I was in a different country in a car on my own with a man.I was more relaxed when I saw the bus and then relaxed.A bit more information as to what my arrangments were to be to and from the airport would have been appreciated. As I would have known what was going on.

Top Tip Aloha Bar is excellent and the Chinese Resturant at the beginning of the Town in Hisaronu is great value for money and very delicious. Also if you just want to stay at the Asena Hotel at night the food and the entertainment from the guys is second to none!!!!!!!Ive stayed there 4 times now and feel part of their family from the Manager down to the water boy

We know and love the Hotel but as it was end of season it was winding down . However we had no hot water for last 2 days and the buffet breakfast was also stopped for the last 3 days. On the last day the staff started packiing up tables and chair as we ate!

Top Tip Festival Restaurant is beautiful and a must as is Dragonarro chinese and Shine Indian.

We arrived there and the twin rooms were like a SHOE box! With our suitcases we couldnt even move around mosquito bites and insects all over the place. Then we proposed to move to a 2 bedder which the space was fine space wise but they made us wait for our cosmo rep to sort this out and we waited 4 hours in the lobby with no one turning up. Ended up paying an extra £100 finally to get the room which we offered them anyway in the first place but they wanted to give us a hard time!
Apart from the barman not 1 person spoke a word of english to sort this out. Not even the receptionists. The barman sorted the whole issue out after talking to us for 3 of those hours. We wasted a whole day of our holiday on this.

After that, in our apartment compared to other apartments, the hot water didnt run everyday. When we used to complain it would take them 1.5 hrs to sort it out. Which meant we couldnt go out on time to meet friends and even on the morning we were flying out....no hot water! Our taxi arrived and we were still not showered. Finally they gave us the key to another apartment far away to go and shower. We almost missed our flight.

On top of which, the staff were all exceptionally rude. Especially the short boy in the canteen. Chucking cutlery on our table and they all walked past us with no hello or anything. Including the Manager. The food was TERRIBLE!!!! Luckily we didnt go all inclusive but a couple of times we ate there as it was raining and nothing else nearby to go to. They charged us excessive prices for our dinners. None of the staff except the Security guard and the barman were friendly and the barman coz he fancied one of us....ME!! What a creep! Thats the only reason.

Location was in the middle of nowhere!!! You cant go anywhere without a cab so we spent alot of money on cabs which we could have forked out to stay in a better hotel in the end !

Its more like a 2 star...not a 4 star at all!

Top Tip as explained nothing around. In the middle of nowhere. We kept the cab drivers in business and the taxis were not cheap!
