"Very basic, but expected for the price. No issues with the accomodation its good for the traveller with low expectations would not recommend to anyone on a relaxation holiday. Its somewhere to get your head down and have a wash nothing more nothing less."

"I never used my booking because as soon as I walked into the reception area it was covered in black bags of rubbish.There was no one on the reception desk and after five minutes I left and booked into a 3 star hotel.
The building was not well lit which was a bit disconcerting and I did not feel safe at all."

"AT THE AIRPORT [ GOING TO MAJORCA] I WAS CHARGED £10.00 FOR MY CASE. THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN POINTED OUT TO ME WHEN I BOOKED. I DONT RECOLLECT ANY MENTION OF THIS. I WOULD LIKE A RE-FUND IF POSSIBLE. "the hotel that we were staying in was inhumane to live in an unsafe, the fan on the celling was lose, the beds were stained with god no's what as were the matresses, the safe had no key an the lock on it was damaged, the bathroom has mould all over the celling an walls, the water was brown, the toilet didnt flush properally, the walls in the room had paint pealing off them due to dampness, the desk had a draw missing, this villasol hotel is the worst i have ever been in!! i have taken pictures too an i cant belive i had to actually pay to stay in such a dive..."

"Hi,

The links below are not active. I have just had the most horrid holiday of my life. Even though I booked a one star hotel for my female friend and myself I did not expect to experience fear, lack of sleep and no staff whatsoever in the building. On arriving at about approximately 10pm there were no staff to greet us, no notice boards to inform us of what to do and no sense of safety for two female travellers as we were in the back streets with no help. If was only when another guest came out and took as to the sister hotel (dragging heavy case's up a hill) that we could check in. We alone had to carry our heavy luggage up a marble spiral stair case, which was very dangerous.

Our room had electricity sockets hanging off the walls and the shower flooded nightly, this I could cope with. However being woken at 7am by a male voice threatening to kill was too much, after ranting for half and hour he smashed his glass balcony door, all this with no staff in the building! We were terrified.

The following night the boys next store were having sex on the balcony. The were nightly parties just outside the main door, which were very intimidating to walk through. I was woken every night by music or shouting, I complained to yourself and called security from the other hotel.

Now being back home, I am exhausted. This is an official compliant and I require compensation for all my distress.

"The room was pretty skanky and small. Te room did not feel secure at all. Lukcy there was a safe available. The water was yellow, then it turned brown, and the shower was really bad.
What do you expect for £7.00 a night though .....so I'm not complaining at all.
We had a great holiday!
The Hotel Florida was really nice and the staff were great."
