3 Star Aferni Hotel in Agadir
It's in an odd place, you need to walk a bit to find anything decent to see; but to be fair that's probably just a review of Agadir in general. The hotel, for its star (which I reckon should probably say two and not three), was actually pretty good - cleaned well every day, nice breakfast, clean pool even after two weeks of storms, internet and everything. Some of the staff weren't the friendliest of people, but that's probably just because they disapprove of unmarried couples staying together. They even asked a German woman we made friends with if we were married - she was a patron of the hotel, a lovely old dame who seemed very keen on us - she gave me presents and everything when we left, probably because I'm part-German myself. So all in all we had a good experience of the hotel, except for one night when there was a hell of a lot of noise going on on the roof... sounded like gas canisters being knocked over, all night long! Didn't bother us much, we had a nice balcony. Oh, they also altered the price of the safe in the room from 5 dirhams/day to 7 dirhams/day, which they only told me when I went to pay for it. Nice. Hit and miss that hotel, but we had a really good time.
4 Star Agadir Beach Club Hotel in Agadir
ALTHOUGH A LITTLE DATED, HOTEL IS VERY WELL SITUATED - NEXT TO THE BEACH, WITH PLENTY OF RESTAURANTS ETC. CLOSE BY. BIG SWIMMING POOL IS USEFUL IF THE SEA IS A LITTLE COLD. FOOD IS GOOD AS IS THE SERVICE. FREE WI-FI INTERNET IS AVAILABLE IN THE LARGE LOBBY.
4 Star Amadil Beach Hotel in Agadir
the hotel was nice but the service in both the restaraunt & bar was well below average. The food left a bit to be desired, there was no real variation especially at breakfast time infact it was very boring. This particular hotel catered for French and Russian therefore all the entertainment was geared for these cultures and not for English people ther were no conversing from the entertainment people in English so we felt very much excluded.
4 Star Anezi Hotel in Agadir
hotel was clean and comfortable. food was a bit bland on occassion but overall satisfactory. shower was powerful and water was always hot. room was cleaned daily and no complaints on that department. swimming pools were cold and not heated as mentioned, even thought the weather was lovely highs of over 25 degrees the water was still too cold to swim in. the website mentions there is handryers as standard in all romms, but this is not true. none of the rooms have hair dryers. the view was spectacular from the room, we had booked a double sea view room with a cot for the baby, the cot had to be asked for when we got there even though we requested it when booking, however this wasnt a problem as they brought it up straight away. even though we booked a double sea view room, the bed was not a double but in fact two singles pushed togather, when asking at reception for the room to be changed to a double was told that the only double rooms are not with a sea view, so we decided to stay put with the 2 singles. not ideal for a couple. staff were really friendly, although reception staff did not speak much english, and were not very informative of what shows etc the hotel offered, they only answered the questions you asked. overall was a pleasent stay, would defo recommend!!!
3 Star Atlantic Hotel in Agadir
Nice clean rooms and decent breakfast.
3 Star Caribbean Village Agador Hotel in Agadir
We opted for the all inclusive package and found the complex to be superb. Not only do you get the choice of 7 restaurants offering different foods from around the world, we found the restaurants to be very accommodating and waiters extremely helpful and welcoming. We would most certainly stay at this hotel again
3 Star Club Al Moggar Hotel in Agadir
The hotel is tired and I had to change my room because of an awful smell and things not working. I get the impression that the higher your guest status, the better the rooms. Try to get one on the second floor. The food is very good, plentiful and the staff friendly. Expect lots of salads, but there was also hot meat, fish and vegetables. When I was there, most of the guests were semi-retired German or French, so it would help if you spoke this. There are some day time activities and two pools which are ideal for families. The later evening entertainment seems to cater more for the older age group and the room was very smokey. On the plus side, the hotel is very well situated for the beach which is just across a road at the back of the gardens and it is currently undergoing extensive works of improvement.
4 Star Club Almoggar Garden Beach Hotel in Agadir
Our Bedroom was excellent overlooking the pool and the sea. Everything was spotlessly clean throughout our stay. Could do with a healthy alternative at breakfast eg cereals and fruit as well as clementines. The Entertainment Staff were excellent and worked from morning till night. Convenient for Marina, Town and Beach.
4 Star Coralia Club La Kasbah Hotel in Agadir
I wouldn't call our stay here a "prison sentence" like some other review that I read but I would be pushed to say this gives the impression of being a 4 star hotel. OK - its an Accor Hotel (good reputation I suppose) but then again its in Morocco. We turned up pretty tired and our 6 month year old son needing changing and a nap after the flight - firstly they didn't have our reservation and unfortunately we were told they were fully booked. I was then told Internet Reservations were "difficult to process" I failed to get an answer when wishing to know which part of the process was difficult! We were however given the room within the hour. The room was clean - fresh sheets - no funny smells - working clean shower/toilet but this is no proper 4 star luxury - small things are missing; no chairs to sit on; area outside room looked like it hadn't been tidied up following recent construction; bird poo outside no one had taken it upon themselves to clean up; no were to hang a towel after taking a shower - all small things but demonstrating that the hotel has no eye for detail no taking extra steps to ensure all comforts are met. I always got the impression that the only reasons they had 4 stars was they were able to tick the boxes for having all the facilities that a 4 start needs to have. The food was definetly less than average - extremely repetetive, cheap and unimaginetive. In a country full of amazing food non of it seems to make it to the Mirage. On a positive note though the staff are very friendly and energetic and there are no end of bonjours/ceva's every morning. All in all enjoyable but pleased to leave after 5 days.
5 Star Dorint Atlantic Palace Hotel in Agadir
great hotel, friendly staff, excellent customer service, the rooms are spacious and the food is just amazing.
3 Star El Pueblo Tamlelt Hotel in Agadir
Good hotel for All Inclusive
4 Star Flat Hotel in Agadir
This hotel has good and bad points. Firstly, the 1 bed apartment is very spacious and clean. But the other facilities are lacking. Breakfast is very basic, croissants, bread and tea, not a buffet style, and you have to wait a while for it. There is nowhere to have lunch at the hotel and dinner is not available till 7/8pm - not good when you have a child that needs to eat dinner at 6pm. Staff speak some English, not great, but they are very polite. The kitchen facilities in the apartment are also lacking - no kettle, and I have to say I felt a mild electric current when using the cooker! Towels are provided but sometimes these were frayed at the edges, not what you would expect for a four star. Definitely not 300m to the beach, probably more like 1.5km. And there is no supermarket at the hotel as advertised. But I do think you get what you pay for - and this hotel is cheap compared to others.
3 Star Golden Beach Hotel in Agadir
Hotel was great value for money. The room was a god size with seperate bedroom and living area seperated by curtains. Plenty storage and comfy, nice bathroom (shower only). There was a group of 7 of us, and the rooms were almost identical but only one had a balcony (although reception offered to move us when we asked). One side of the hotel overlooks a building site which may bother some people as it wasn't a very good view at all and a bit noisy after 7am. There is plenty of seating room and a TV with a couple of English speaking channels (BBC world news and a film channel). There was a fridge, microwave, hob etc in the kitchen area - fine for storing drinks and a few snacks etc but you wouldnt be able to create anything much more complex. The pool area wasn't huge but very nice and clean and was a good sun-trap. The water was freezing cold, but it was Feb! There are a couple of PCs with internet access in reception (about £2.50 per hour) and a room with a pool table (broken cue though with had been taped back together). The hotel was close to the beach but a bit of a walk to the restaurants and shops. Taxis cost 20DHM/30DHM per journey so they are cheap enough to use for getting about Agadir. The pizzaria next to the hotel did nice food but service was slow and they seemed to struggle with orders. Breakfast was quite good 20DHM for a coffee, orange juice, bread, jam and a croissant. Overall I would definitely recommend the hotel if your not expecting great luxury and don't mind a bit of a walk/taxi to the entertainment. I would recommend Agadir for a good value holiday or a bit of winter sun. If you are happy to spend most days by the pool and have a nice meal on an evening and a couple of drinks it is great. It was a surprisingly modern city and not a great deal of culture or sights unless you travel elsewhere. It is not a suitable place to go for big nights out due to the alcohol prices and general culture.
4 Star Iberostar Founty Beach Hotel in Agadir
Overall very nice. Hotel beds are ALL singles though and are the most uncomofortable things we have ever slept on!
4 Star Jacaranda Hotel in Agadir
Friendly hotel, very welcoming and accommodating. The owner takes a personal interest in her guests.
3 Star Kamal Hotel in Agadir
Clean, cheap and cheerful. Nice staff, beautiful pool and great poolside snacks.
5 Star Kenzi Europa Agadir Hotel in Agadir
5 star??hmm 3+ for room, food ok,close to everywhere, beautiful garden, my rating 4
4 Star Le Tivoli Hotel in Agadir
The staff at Le Tivoli Hotel are really amongst the very best. From the reception, restaurant and the bar staff nothing was too much of a problem for them. If you required some information or something they were not serving, if you asked they would do their utmost to accomodate you. The pool could have done with being a bit warmer but apart from that no problems. The reason i havent checked the above boxes for families and younger peolple is that there is no entertainment for families or younger people.
4 Star Les Omayades Hotel in Agadir
A large nicely laid out complex, with lovely gardens. Swimming pool and area inadequate for size of complex. Lovely beech near by. We were the only English tourists, mostly French. French was widely spoken in hotel. No information provided in English about the hotel or local facilities. Tour rep met us at airport but didn't see him again. He left us the what's on brochure at the reception two days later. Great for a chilled out beach holiday.
4 Star Lti Al Madina Palace Hotel in Agadir
Good Hotel, Good Staff, Good Food, Buffet Breakfast, Evening Meal Waiter Service with very Good Choice. Clean Rooms, Good Pool Area, Super Pool Master, Towels, Loungers ready on arrival. Would Recommend to all other than Families with small children. Please be aware that this Hotel is Alcohol Free [Alcohol can be taken in and consumed in your room], and serves no pork. Would certainly Return.
4 Star Oasis Agadir Hotel in Agadir
The staff at the reception were miserable and did not come across as being friendly... the breakfast was the worst I have had in any hotel. The only fruit for breakfast was these large oranges, the bread was hard and they had vegatables.. yes vegatables for breakfast...like cucumbers and peppers etc .... it wasn't worth getting up for. The hotel is ok but a little dated.. defintely NOT a 4 star! more like a 3 star.
4 Star Oasis Agadir Hotel in Agadir
worst holiday we have ever had.it would be ok if you are french or german, they do not like the english nor do they cater for the english food wise or in any other way. the rooms are very basic, the bathroom was black with mould, the wardrobe leaked water from the air con, the safe didnt work, half the lights didnt work, i could go on. would definatly not recommend this hotel.
4 Star Odyssee Park Agadir Hotel in Agadir
The hotel Odyssey Park in Agadir was fantastic. The hotel is clean, with really good size bedrooms. The beds were king size, and rooms looked recently decorated. The hotel gardens were just lovely, and the location of a 2 minute walk to the beach and bars made this hotel a good choice. The only downside was the hotel bar prices. Very expensive compared to any other bars/restaurants. We got a cheap deal 1/2 board, however only ate dinner at the hotel once, as we prefer to see real Morocco, and try different restaurants, rather than stay in one place all week.
4 Star Odyssee Park Hotel in Agadir
It was better than we thuoght that will be! One minus - water on pool was cold , not like it was in review that ''pool is heating''....
5 Star Palais Des Roses Hotel in Agadir
Hotel was a taxi ride away from the main beach but did have its own beach. No double beds , they would put to singles together to act as a double! Room was full of ants. you only had to leave a half empty glass of pop out and the glass would be crawling with them. Service was very slow.
1 Star Ramada Almohades Hotel in Agadir
This hotel should be re-classified from a 4* to a 1*. In 40 years of travel I can honestly say that I have never stayed at a worse hotel. The hotel structure, bedrooms, dining rooms, pool area furniture etc. etc. are run down and in some cases dirty. Although my wife and I were on half board, most of the time we had to eat out as the majority of the hotel food was unfit to eat unless you were on an egg diet for breakfast . When visiting the dismal dining room you were lucky to find cutlery or tumblers/wine glasses available. Our room had a TV but no remote to operate it. It took me 48 hours of constant complaining to obtain a remote. The brochure states hair driers provided. We were informed by reception that there were only 6 hair driers in the hotel for the use of the 5/600 guests, this was because "guests kept electrocuting themselves". All (white) linen in bedrooms & bathrooms was grey. Duty managers and staff (apart from the room maid) did not want to know about any problems. I could say more but I don't think I need to except: Holiday makers beware
4 Star Ramada Les Almohades Hotel in Agadir
Room good. Meals could be better. Entertainement team : excellent. The best solution half board.
3 Star Residence Igoudar Apartments in Agadir
This was our first stay at this hotel (part of Sahara group and having stayed at the Tagadirt hotel, the previous year). First shock , morning after arrival when we asked where the restaurant was to have breakfast: "We don't do breakfast here, you have to go to hotel across the road -the Tagadirt" (where we stayed the previous year!) Well that wasn't so bad except that six out of the seven days we stayed in Agadir it rained. So it was great having to cross in the road in pouring rain! Thankfully we didn't book all inclusive! Next shock: due to the rains we sprouted various leaks in our suite -5 in total. Managed to get moved without question though. Overall the hotel is reasonable for the money you are paying. Water is hot -but just baths with showers, not actual showers. Staff are polite. There is a pool table and tv lounge, outdoor pool with sun loungers (a lot of them need replacing!). Overall rating, I would say 6/10.
3 Star Residence Intouriste Hotel in Agadir
Wonderfull Hotel , infastructure top class and also a great price. We were staying in 2 apartment room's 116 and 118 both right next to each other. When we left we were accused of 3 towels. As 5 of us proceeded to check out and go to the airport 4 were still left in the apartment upstairs getting ready to leave in a seperate taxi later on when they where ready. 5 of us where disgusted when a man who I can indentify to you through video footage asked us to get back into the Hotel accuseing us of stealing Towels. We all got searched in the reception through our will as we did not want the police to be involved because we had a flight to catch that was departing in 3 hours. They let us go and we went into the taxi to the airport. Mean while the 4 other members of our Group where leaveing when the staff stoped them from leaveing and accused them of stealing towels. When the Hotel Staff searched them they tried to single out one group member who had left with the group of 5 in a taxi and used rasist comments when describeing him and implying that he is a theif and so on. In the end due to misscommunication and the group of 5 where already at the airport the group of 4 were told to pay for the 3 towels 120 dirham each a total of £29aprox. If our group refused they stated they would take it out of the cleaners wages. I think it was a big con and the pressure they put on us was enourmous due to the fact our flight was leaving withen 3 hours and our group split up one going ealier then the other. Nice Hotel Just watch out for cons constantly.
3 Star Residence Rihab Hotel in Agadir
There was a night club in the hotel that played loud music every night. If I had known this i would not have chosen this Hotel. Our bedside light did not work so we asked for a differnt one but we got the same one back! Room is very dark. Hotel is half an hours walk to the restaurants and bars which is not ideal.
4 Star Riu Tikida Beach Hotel in Agadir
Excellent staff and great location near the beach. Mainly French speaking hotel so not many English guests. Lots of entertainment throughout the day and evening but not much for younger guests/ groups of friends. Recommend the hotel for older people or families with young children.
4 Star Riu Tikida Dunas Club Hotel in Agadir
The hotel staff were excellent especially as I arrived with a hotel voucher that they had no record of. The hotel was fully booked but after 1 1/2 hours of juggling they came up with a room. It is a pity I then had to pay again for it. And it is VERY unfortunate that none of the phone numbers you gave me could be reached!!!!! The hotel staff could not be faulted unlike yourselves who send an old lady thousands of miles to a hotel with no room and then could not be contacted by myself or the hotel!!!!
3 Star Royal Agadir Hotel in Agadir
very dirty, dump and full of cockroches.slept in my mum's house instead ( my mum's house in agadir )as to the star rating it's more like -3*.We advice you to visit this hotel as you will not understand how bad it is.
4 Star Royal Decameron Tafoukt Beach Hotel in Agadir
This hotel is not a 4 star hotel however a surprisingly pleasent experience. We had to change our room after the first night because of the excessive noise from the night club at the basement. The air conditioning in our second room did not work and the roof leaked however we enjoyed our stay mainley because the environment is so friendly and pleasent. Staff are very helful, hardworking and polite. Food is reasonable, adequate and occasionally very well done!!! So for those who like to complain there are plenty of opportunities and for those who want to enjoy their stay there are plenty of reasons to do exactly that!!!
5 Star Royal Mirage Agadir Hotel in Agadir
This is not a 5 star hotel. At best it is 3 star, however to be fair, the price we paid was a lot less than a genuine 5 star. Buffet breakfast was adequate at best. OK for a couple of nights, but I wouldn't want to spend more time than that
5 Star Sofitel Agadir Hotel in Agadir
This is a great hotel, situated at the end of the promenade. Public areas of the hotel are great and the sun loungers around the pool are better than anything we have come across - they are real "sun beds". Hotel rooms are typically average but some nice touches with great robes and always kept clean. Staff are attentive most of the time. Go with the B&B package - breakfast is good and plenty of choice to be had. Don't eat other meals as the restaurant is expensive. The hotel is situated almost an hours walk from the centre of the resort where you will find the cheap restaurants & bars. Great to go one way but get a taxi on your return ! Orange taxis are cheap if you can fit in them !
3 Star Sud Bahia Hotel in Agadir
3 Star Tagadirt Hotel in Agadir
I just came back from Agadir a week ago and I need to admit that I was +ve supprised! The Tagadirt Hotel is a real value for your money - I was expecting that for the price which I have paid I will get very basic accomodation but In reallity I've got a nice, spacious and clean room with all of the facilities u may need on beach holidays. Breakfast was good as well - good variety of food and nice service! Location is just great - near to the beach, shops, restaurants, net cafe and city centre! I will defenetly visit this hotel again!
4 Star Timoulay Hotel in Agadir
The Hotel Timoulay was perfect for a nice relaxing break. The food was excellent and the staff were exeptionally polite and helpful. There is little in the way of entertainment and I would say it would only be suitable for families with young children who are happy to entertain themselves around the pool. The whole atmosphere within the hotel is one of relaxation, and there is little to do in Agadir itself.
4 Star Tldi Hotel in Agadir
HOTEL STAFF ARE LOVELY AND REALLY GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO MAKE YOU FELL WELCOME. THE MANAGEMENT ARE REALLY POLITE AND WELCOMING. THE WAITERS HABBY JACK AND BYRAM ARE AN EXCEPTIONAL TO THE TEAM AND MO MO THE ENTERTAINER WAS GREAT COMPANY. I HAVE ADVISED MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO STAY AT THIS HOTEL.
