Facilities quite good (nice pool and sun terrace), but the Hotel obviously caters for dog lovers, hence the rooms stink! Staff not very friendly, and food only reasonable.

The hotel is part of a golf complex, so if golf interests you, take your equipment! It's on the edge of the small coastal resort town and is a little difficult to find in the unfamiliar one-way system. I would not consider it suitable for children; or to put it another way, I would not have welcomed their presence, unless they were exceptionally well behaved, which is rare these days with British kids! The guest rooms are enormous, modern, comfortable, with a well controlled temperature. Views from the balconies at the back of the hotel over the golf course stretch 180 degrees from a glimpse of the sea about a mile to the north across the golf course, to meadow and wooded hills to the south. Delightful. Parking is easy and plentiful. The public rooms include a swimming pool and gym. The dining room is spacious and service is friendly and efficient.

First class. Good position with easy access to town and on main bus route. Rooms very clean and comfortable Buffet breakfast wide choice and plentiful (don't expect an English bacon and egg special though !) Staff friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

This hotel is well situated for the delights of the famous Sardinero beach. The staff were generally helpful and pleasant. Our room was quite small for the star category of the hotel. We were a little bemused by the "yellow"water for our two baths after an afternoon on the beach; but then, it was August...peak season. The parking in the area is very difficult...and would put us off going again in high season. Be aware that the "restaurants" nearby are really only for snacks...and rather pricey. Better probably to go in to Santander city centre.

We were there for only two nights, but found it a very comfortable, friendly hotel. The pool was a pleasant situated, but it would have helped to have been informed of its depth! My wife found herself unwittingly out of her depth. Food was good, if limited in range.

the room/suite provided was very roomy and comfortable. Pleasant sun terrace off the room. All members of staff very pleasant and some knowledge of english where our spanish failed. Meals were taken in the adjoining restaurant - a liitle limited choice and menu was unchanged for a week but quality of food was good. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room would have been welcomed.
