Although we booked to stay at the Bucardo Hotel, when we arrived this hotel was locked up and no-one was around. We telephoned the number we had on the voucher and we were re-directed to the Mur Hotel just down the road. This hotel was lovely and suited us for the one night stop that we had. The breakfast was very good.

Gran jaca Hotel, great hotel, clean and tidy, central location. short walk to bars and restaurants. Staff pleasant. pool good also. Pleasure to stay there.

During our visit the hotel was full of groups of young footballers from all over Spain and further afield. It appears that there was a youth football tournament. They were, as you would expect for young males away from home, rowdy and noisy. Add to this the fact that Spain won both the semi-final and the final of Euro 2008 during our visit and you get a flavour of the atmosphere! The staff were stretched to cope with the demands of this and it would be unfair to rate their performance based on this visit. The hotel is comfortable but is overdue for an upgrade. Furnishings and decor are dated. The room had kitchenette facilities which were locked. We requested access so that we could use the fridge and were charged an additional 9 Euros per day for this facility.

The hotel was much better than expected. The rooms were clean to a good standard. The Staff were very friendly & helpful. We travelled over with my daughter who is staying there for 9 months as part of her university course. When we arrived in Spain the family my daughter was ment to be staying with were not at home. We explained the situation to the hotel staff & they did some phoning around for us. When we couldn't make any contact we were given another room for the 3 of us & told that we can sort out the situation the next day. The following morning we were told contact had been made and there had been a misunderstanding with my daughters arrangements. The receptionist then got in touch with the host family & everything was sorted. The staff were very curteous & helpful all throught out stay. I would definitly go back to stay there.
