Quiet location, definitely need a car after a day or two. Hotel very clean and new feeling. Food excellent in quality and quantity. The pool is a bit small and sheltered from the sun part of the day and pretty cold most of the time. The nearby beaches and coastal town and paths are lovely and pleasantly touristy. Safe and warm bathing in the sea (Mar Menor).

End of March is THE WRONG time to visit, swimming pool green with mould, staff not really keen,many repairs/renewals going on,breakfast absolutely hopeless,room was great,plenty of space and well kempt.This hotel is known locally as the 'hidden hotel'.It's too far to walk into Aguilas(if you can find anything in Aguilas worth walking for!),the beaches are not that good and too far to walk to,it's a kinda rough area around there, even further afield the land is covered by hessian-growing Europe's salad.The word is that the local mayor is repressing any holiday trade,very succesfully, it's hopeless round there.

it was freezing, heater packed up on Sunday and we couldnt get anyone as only there mon-fri so we booked into a nother hotel for our last night. shutters in bedroom jammed someone repaired this but then we couldnt open them so all in all a total nightmare.

Actual apartment very nice and clean.A little remote although a supermarket next door, 30min walk into the nearest set of shops and resteraunts, which were by the habour. A car is essential to get around this part of the mar menor.

Excellent accomodation. Resort facilities first class , except - avoid apartments in Bellaluz, grubby and too near the noise. Take time to explore La Manga club. There are lots of nooks and crannies and tucked away things which aren't advertised or publicised. Don't miss the West course clubhouse, great food, good music and cheap. Avoid La Manga itself. Dreadful scruffy smelly concrete jungle of a place, just don't go. Don't bother with the beach on the Club site, difficult to get to and not worth the effort.

we had a lovely clean apartment ,there was every thing was there except a kettle , the only thing i would say is the apartment seemed not to have any heating it got a bit cold at night , there was 2 small oil heaters that we had to move from room to room at night . The area was quite but i took that as being to early in the year and you would need a car.

Better instructions as to where the apartment was would have helped us to locate it much easier. At 21:30 it was not easy to find. Also a key fob with "ESC 21 3C" was not terribly clear for a large apartment block. A note to bring warm clothes for evenings in January would have helped since, understandably, there was very little heating in the apartment.

The Apartment was extremely clean and excellent condition for a 2 star building. Actually stayed in Hawaii 1 not Superaticos, as was allocated a 1 bed apart not the studio I paid for. Excellent Value for money. Fantastic views across the sea.

Customer service leaves a bit to be desired, english spoken by staff is limited and they are reluctant to even try and understand, with only one spanish speaker in our party it was hard sometimes to get what we wanted. Also watch out for busy weekends in the spa - they don't tell you to book early! Hotel is fantastic though.

Nice Hotel.Friendly staff.food well breakfast a bit tastless but I suppose adequate.Evening meal was a set menu with waiter service.I feel a buffet would have been more appropriate.We stayed from 5th -9th of oct'08.and if there had not been a party of Irish Bridge payers booked in that wee we would have almost been on our 'own-some'.Shame really as it really was quite a nice hotel but who it would suit i'm not sure.

hotel staff always helpful, problems if any caused by lack of english and our lack of spanish. Food in hotel very good and able to get drinks and bar snacks at a reasonable cost. They changed our room without question for one with balcony without any extra charge. No entertainment and a very quiet hotel. No grounds but excellent seating balcony and terrace as well as sunning and swimming area on roof. They allowed us to stay in our room until late afternoon without extra charge. Ideally situated between main town centre and beach (10 minutes). Mainly spanish and season finished on the 13th September. Local bus service, good cycling and flat walking area. One draw back for us was smoking was allowed in the bar area but it was well ventilated

This is an apartment - not a hotel - there are no reception facilities. Your system for this needs to prompt the client as where keys are to be collected en route to the development. The apartment is excellent but the notes provided by the managing agent should also mention that no air conditioning is fitted at the apartment and that the thermostats around the flat are in-operative (saves a lot of time checking why not working). Otherwise an excellent apartment in the prime location of La Manga - (ie 50 yard walk to the marina not, as some advertise "with view of marina" failing to mention that the block is on the other side of the canal from the marina and a 1.5 mile walk to reach it.
