Latest review snippet:  In mid October the guests were all couples - many elderly. We did not see a single child there during the week. Lovely pool but nobody used it. Excellent room and buffet meals - staff very friendly. Very easy to get into Mahon by bus and so to other parts of the island.

Latest review snippet:  The Macarella is a very clean hotel, with friendly staff. It is close to the beach, with a handy supermarket right next door to it. There is also a convenient bus stop in front of the supermarket. The marina area, with many pubs and restaurants is just a short walk from the hotel.

Latest review snippet:  This was our second time to the Tamariscos which is superbly located, just a few steps down to the beach and our apartment had two balconies both with sea views. Plenty of good restaurants and bars around the marina are just a couple of minutes stroll away.
