"Very nice hotel with lovely established gardens which set it apart from the other hotels nearby. Our only gripe was lack of tea making facilities in the room which seems to be a feature of Taba (tho not Sharm) and no bath in our room. We had a sea view room which was lovely although my request for few stairs because of my aged mother was ignored and we were put on the third floor with no lift."

"Cannot praise this hotel highly enough. Part of the Sofitel chain with international standards. Booked the holiday independently (not a package) and arranged transfers through the concierge, emails replied to in less than 30 minutes! Staff very attentive, professional and multi-lingual. Highly recommend. Perfect for a relaxing week. International guests with the Brits in the minority, which to me is very refreshing. All inclusive food boring after a few days, so use the "dine around" priveledge. Free shuttle bus again excellent with first class time keeping. Well worth going 5 star, since neighbouring hotels can be a little "garish". Would definitely book again at a Sofitel hotel and through Travel Republic. Travel Republic staff extremely knowledgeable and helpful. First Choice Airways - for a 5.5 hour flight, they need to put on larger aircraft. Flight timings good, but comfort level on the flight extremely poor."
