"The hotel was covered in scaffolding when we got there! I was not impressed. The roof top restaurant was a joke. The buffet breakfast was practically non existent, and the food that was there was inedible. They even used watered down milk for breakfast after initially giving us proper milk!"

"Amouns restaurant - definately go there."

"Very Impressed actually. Considering it was £16 for 2 nights, the hotel is right in the center of town with a lovely rooftop terrace with an excellent sunset view. It's basic and quite primitive but well worth the money. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. The staff are polite and helpful. Breakfast was included, no stomach problems or issues with food being under cooked. All in all a good deal!"

"The Emilio is a great place to stay. You can admire Luxor Temple while eating breakfast on the roof! The hotel is also only a short walk to the ferry that crosses to the west bank. "

"The Emilio Hotel in Luxor is always great. Staff improving with every visit. Food improved greatly over the past 12 months. Rooms are always very clean as are the bathrooms. The hotel is gvery convenient for all the sites and mostly in walking distance to great restaurants and to the souk. The ferry to the West Bank is also within walking distance. I have stayed at this particular hotel many, many times and it is always my first choice. The view from the pool on the roof is the best in Luxor and I would return just for that."
Top Tip:
"One of the best restaurants is in the souk. The Lotus. Great menu and better still, great prices."

Emilio Hotel is located in the heart of Luxor and it boasts fabulous views of the Nile and Luxor Temple from the building-s rooftop. Within the hotel one can enjoy delicious dishes at the buffet restaurant, as well as exotic drinks at the hotel-s disco. This intriguing hotel is located approximately 8 km from the airport, only a few minutes walk to the Nile River, close to the tourist shopping district, 300 yards from Luxor Temple and one mile away from the Karnak Temple.
