  • "Hotel was clean, staff excellent, food good.
    Plenty of sun beds and towels available and great weather for a November holiday.

    Was about 15 minutes outside Naama but this wasnt an issue to us.

    Hotel entertainment was as everyone else had said before we went....shocking but after a few wines it was highly amusing!

    I'd definitely go back."

  • "I have stayed at Concorde now 6 times, and this is def my last time. 3 years ago the Hotel was superb and fresh looking. Now, to be honest it's like a bad 3* Hotel especially in Sports side and I have stayed in Both Main and Sports previously so I DO KNOW!! The staff there are lovely, I can't fault them, never have never will, but some of the new rules grate on me BIGTIME. Evening entertainment has improved slightly, (Couldn't of got worse anyway) the food is of an OK standard but repetitive, and as for the ALL INCLUSIVE (whinging British, who clearly did not read the small print) THIS FINISHES AT 11.00pm. I knew this 3 years ago, but the attitude of some guests was embarrasing. The staff agreed with me when I said that the Hotel had really gone down hill, 3 years ago it was the 3rd most popular Hotel in Sharm...now it's 23rd!!! THAT SPEAKS VOLUMES. (Look at TripAdviser) Most people also reserved sunbeds by the Pool as early as 7.00am most mornings. What's all that about??? It's like the Germans in most parts of Europe!! The whole of Sharm has chnaged sooooooooo much it's been very painful to watch, especially from someone who loves the country as much as I do. Think BENIDORM in the desert and you'll get the picture."

  • Top Tip:

    "Agree price before you get in Taxi. Pay no more than 60EGP from Hotel to Naama Bay. There is a free Shuttle Bus to Naama, but you have to book your seats in advance. The Russians are so rude, so don't be surprised!!! And stand up to them. The Egyptian staff can't stand them either. Old Market is a must see. Quad Bikes in the Desert, terrific. Don't believe what Rep says about booking with Pool guys. These are half the price of the Reps tours and just the same. Speak to HANY if you want to book any tours. LOVELY Guy, who speaks very good English and IS NOT PUSHY at all. Known him a "lifetime" and he will ensure you are looked after. Camel Bar, Pasha Club in Naama well worth visiting, but be warned this time of year it's still extremely warm at 10.00pm at night. The main street in Naama is full of cheap old tat and you WILL be hassled to take a look. If you say no thank you and smile they will usually leave you alone. Get rude and aggresive, they will close ranks and surround you. A shisha pipe is OK and worth a go too, but it does pong a bit!! Beware the bootleg ciggies in Naama, they are like Camel Sh** to smoke and it's not pleasant. Buy from Hotel or local Supermarket near your Hotel so that you know ya getting the real thing. Blimey, I could go on for ever, but I have visited Egypt for 30 years so do know my stuff!!"

  • "Simply brilliant, staffs are very friendly and extremely helpful.

    The hotel has everything you'll ever want or need.

    We very nearly pulled out the credit card to stay an extra week.

    Handy tip though pay the extra and stay in the main part of the Concorde complex although the sports section is superb the main part is even better, with a nicer pool and views along with better evening entertainment and its even closer to the beach.

    but dont worry where ever you stay within the resort you'll have access along with passes to all of whats on offer...

    Oh and if you only do one thing during your stay, go snorkelling! Saying that; I can also recommend quad biking for those adrenaline junkies out there."

    "Tip a good friendly member of the restaurant staff, a member of staff at the pool bar and the guy who services your room and you'll be treated like royalty. We tipped them 100 Egyptian pounds (£10 GBP) each between the four of us and were extremely and pleasantly surprised to watch them bend over backwards to accommodate us.

    Oh and what ever you do avoid drinking the water or eating any food that is likely to be washed in it, you may find the consequences put a downer on your holiday."

Overlooking the gulf of Aquaba, with a marvelous view of the Red Sea, the magnificent Concorde El Salam is an astonishing modern edifice. The hotel complex, which is perfect for families and couples alike, contains a nice Italian A la carte restaurant and two main buffet restaurants, six bars, and one nightclub as well as leisure facilities such as three outdoor swimming pools plus one in-door pool which are all heated in winter time. The beachfront hotel is approximately ten minutes from the Sharm El Sheikh international airport.
