  • "We had a great stay at the Mitsis Grand Hotel in Rhodes. The hotel is in a great situation - across the road from the beach - plenty of bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk. Only a short walk (about 15 mins) to the main town and the walled old town, which is definitely worth a visit. We had a couple of great meals in restaurants there. The hotel is lovely - 3 swimming pools - although all were cold !! We were there at the end of October so the hotel was not full, and we had no problems at all getting a sunbed in a good position. May not be the case in the high season when the hotel is full. Our rooms - 126 & 129 - were great. Sea view, even though we booked garden view, so that was a nice surprise. Cleaned every day and new towels left in the bathroom every day. The food was delicious. A huge choice at breakfast and evening meal, with somehting to suit all tastes. Thought it was a bit much to charge 30 euros to keep our room until 6pm on the last day, so we left our cases in the luggage room, and then took a room for a shower which was free for 30 mins. A great holiday and would recommend this hotel highly."
