  • "This was a really nice apartment complex and we were given a free upgrade to a double roomed suite, which was very spacious. The apartments are about 20 years old and are showing their age a bit, but they are well maintained and very clean. The pool is very nice too. The staff in the reception and pool bar are very friendly and helpful. The location is up a hill at the back of Albufeira old town, which is good on one hand as it is away from the noise of the town centre at night but this means that it is a good 5-minute walk down into the centre and the old or infirm would really struggle with the hill climb, but this wasn't a problem for us. We would definitely go back there again."

    "There is a very good restaurant called O Pedoro on the right hand side of the bay as you approach the seafront. Excellent terrace views across the harbour. Excellent monkfish cataplana!"
