"Alvor is a lovely place to stay if you are NOT a raver. If you like it not too busy or noisy this is the place for you. You get to see some local life - the fish barbique-ing at the restaurants by the sea is superb. The night-life is pubs with singers or quiet bars. The daytime streets have quaint shops and the people are really friendly and helpful. The weather is usually good (been there about 5 times now October to April) but you can have cloud or even rain at times. Beach is about twenty minutes walk from the centre - but worth a visit they are beautiful"

"Location ideal for restaurants, beach ect.Fixtures & fittings a little dated, but kept clean daily. Reception always very helpful when needed."
Top Tip:
"Captains table (near to the harbour ) well worth a visit, but generally Alvor is probably the best resort my wife and myself have been to for many years, great holiday. Many thanks to Travel Republic."

"Old and dated rooms but reasonably well maintained and very clean. The pool area is small cramped and dirty with filthy sunbeds and algae in the pool - avoid it at all costs."

Welcome at Alvormar, the resort for relaxing and enjoying moments of pleasure. Situated in the village of Alvor, gives the opportunity to admire the beauty of the landscape and the moderate climate of Algarve.

Accommodation

All of the apartments provide a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, balcony, some apartments have a sea view, safety box, cable TV, direct phone and air conditioning (cool and heat).

Food & Beverage

At the snack bar you can taste a variety of delicacies, through the day and at the bar of the hotel, exotic cocktails and drinks are waiting for guests, in a relaxing and enchanting atmosphere.

Sports & Leisure

For the lazy ones, the heated swimming pool with salt water of the hotel, offers relaxing moments under the Mediterranean sun. As children are always welcome at the hotel there is an infants pool and a childrens playground.

Facilities & Services

Alvormar hotel provides a 24 hour reception, mini-golf (Krazy golf), snooker, games room, cards room, Internet (sms, chat), and gardens.

Alvormar resort is situated 65 km from FAO airport, just 750 meters one of the Algarves most idyllic beaches and 4km from the city of Portimao.
