"Everything about the apartment was first class. We have gone self catering for the last 30 years and this is one of the few places we have stayed at where everything works. Many thanks."

"The rooms were not cleaned enough, the floors were filthy (even after cleaning) ... This was obvious from the state of our childrens feet. The bins should be emptied everyday, if it was left to staff it would happen once a week .... If you were lucky. We decided to empty the bin ourself daily!

We had to keep asking for a room clean, toilet rolls etc etc etc

This was meant to be a self catering room .... We had no kettle and had to wait for a toaster. We had no saucepans, just 2 old frying pans (could fry a single egg in each!!!!)

The plates and cutlery were filthy on arrival and all had to be washed in boilig water

This aside, we have stayed there before and would stay again due to the great central but quiet location"

"Compliments to the building manager, Layla, who, together with her domestic staff, did everything she could to make our stay a pleasant one. They all went about their business effectively, professionally and with an appropriate sense of humour.
The apartment was adequately furnished but a kettle would have been a positive bonus and would have avoided liberal use of the microwave oven to heat a cup of water.
We were provided with the very same apartment that we stayed in five years ago that was every bit as clean. However we were disappointed to find that the toilet seat that was wobbly five years ago remains either in the same condition or has somehow reverted to its historic situation especially for our visit. We decided not to mention it to Layla whilst on site - she obviously had more than enough to do and I would hope that it will be rectified during the winter lull."
