"Having stayed at the Alcazar last year on our honeymoon we decided to return for our 1st Anniversery and again we were not dissappointed. Everything that we needed was within 5minutes walking distance ie beach,pool,shops,restaurant,casino etc. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and although we did not have dinner in the main restaurant the food served at the pool bar was excellent and good value for money.
Roll on next year we will be back. Also thank you for the lovely car on our pick up to the hotel it made a lovely start to our holiday."Top Tip:
"If you head for the square adjacent to the casino you will find an array of restaurants from cheap to expensive. Also for the ladies a great we shoe shop where i got 4 prs of sandals for 20 euros. We can also recommend the Taj Mahal Indian the food was super."Alcazar Hotel check-in Date:

"Staff very helpful and pleasant. Rooms large with plenty of storage space. Soundproofing not brilliant and some younger guests rather noisy but very good value for the price paid."

Hotel Details - Alcazar Hotel
The Hotel Alcazar, well known for its peculiar Arabic architecture, is located in the Monte Gordo bay, in the southeastern part of the Algarve province. The beaches of white sands, the 300 sunny days per year and the temperate waters, make this resort ideal for the lovers of sunbaths and nautical sports.
Accommodation
The hotel is composed by 8 floors with 119 rooms. There are at the disposal of the guest 54 junior suites for minimun 2 maximun 4 people, all with satellite TV, safes, telephone, air condition and a full-furnished bathroom.
Food & Beverage
There are an elegant restaurant, a pool bar (from may to october), a coffee shop (november to april) and a grill bar (june to september) where the guests can find delicious food and drinks.
Sports & Leisure
The resort is surrounded by four new golf courses and offers two outdoor swimming pools (one for children and one for adults), a tennis court and volleyball. There are also a games room and a playground.
