"Hotel style self catering , well equiped kitchen ,comfortable room and fittings .
we were on the twelve of thirteen floors , had a good view towards the sea,"Top Tip:
"advise if you want a sea view have any room starting 06-010 , the higer the better.
And if you realy want to see portugal hire a car as i did there is a very good rental outlet 200 mts from the hotel, i covered over 900 k in four days never driven outside the uk before !from one end of the algarve to the other and up as far as lisbon, if you go there reccomend an open air sightseeing bus , very good."Club Amarilis Hotel check-in Date:

"We had 2 rooms for 4 adults, and there was plenty of room for all. Don't know if all rooms are the same size, but ours were similar (one with a double bed and one with twin beds). The sofa in the living room pulled out and made in to 2 baeds as well. Extra sheets, blankets and pillows were available. Bathroom had toilet, washbasin, bidet and bath with shower. Kitchen was fully equipped and included kettle, microwave and fridge/freezer.
Downstairs is a bar area, a couple of Pool tables and internet access at 1Euro for 15 mins.
We went for the final round of the World Superbikes at the brilliant new race track just outside of Portimao, and this cost us around 45Euros for a cab to get there and back.
We had arranged a taxi transfer (just over £40) from Faro to the airport, and out driver took us straight to the Hotel with no problems.
We decided to take the train back to Faro and this cost just under 5Euros each and took around 90 minutes (but you get to see a lot more of the countryside than from the road). A cab from the train station to the airport is around 10Euros.
Would stay again."Top Tip:
"Dukes (on the main strip) was good for a Full English Breakfast, but I am sure there are plenty others around.

"Nice, spacious apartment. Not very modern or chic but great value for money and clean. Everything in it that we needed (the weather was great so we were not in there very much). Very close to beach, shops and bars."

"very clean, pleasant staff, not directly next to the beach but only a short walk away.
Indoor swimming pool, rather small and has a charge to use it along with the sauna and whirlpool. outside pool and bar very well appointed. Inhouse supermarket very well stocked."Top Tip:
