"It was very quiet during our stay - it felt as though we were the only people there - which was great for us. We asked the staff and it does get a lot busier as the season goes on. The staff were efficient and friendly - but it didn't have the same really freindly feel as the Apartment Do Golf (resort next door) where we stayed last year. There is very limited entertainment in the immediate area. Anyone who wants more to do would need to go to the harbour each night in a taxi. The hotel did not appear to run a shuttle bus? The hotel didn't provide any entertainment while we were there so we went to the other nearby resorts. We had a fantastic holiday because it was very quiet and relaxing. If you wanted more you would be disapointed. However I belive the whole place changes when the Rugby teams arrive. Unfortunatly we went home on Thursday and the Scaracens team arrived Friday!"
Top Tip:
"Apartment do Golf have entertainment 3 nights of the week, Karaoke, Tony Guitar Man and Furuk and the Dancing Girls. This resort is very very freindly and welcoming. We will probably go back there next year. You only really need to pick Browns if you want to use the Gym etc (which cost 10 euro).
PS We had to wait over an hour for the transfer from the hotel to browns. It was also difficult to find the correct desk. Last year it was much more straight forward and quicker"Browns Sports and Leisure Club Hotel check-in Date:

"The hotel was great. Pretty simple, but clean and comfortable. Sky sports and news on the TV so we were able to watch the England game. Good little kitchen with large fridge freezer which was great for beers and drinks etc. Great facilities - tennis lessons and courts, indoor and outdoor pool, aerobics studio, football pitch, running track and the bar is good too with nice food. Really helpful staff. The location is brilliant for golf and is really quiet which is great although you need a car really to get around. Taxis are tough to come by. We're definitely planning to go back."

Hotel Details - Browns Sports and Leisure Club Hotel
The complex is located in a peaceful area, near Vilamouras golf courses, approximately 4 km from Vilamoura Marina/ town centre. Established in Algarve in 1986 as a tennis club, Browns was completely renovated in 2000 as part of a two-phase project to create an exclusive sports training facility in Southern Europe. The Algarve was selected, particularly, because of its mild climate (similar latitude to Sicily in Southern Italy) and its accessibility to most European countries.
Accommodation
The complex has 30 units within the grounds, all tastefully furnished and equipped with cooker, fridge, microwave, air conditioning, TV, telephone and car park.
Food & Beverage
Breakfast served: continental breakfast. With its tempting and healthy lunch and dinner menu, the Restaurant Bar & Grill provides a comfortable and relaxing environment. Restaurant: lunch 12.00am - 2.30pm every Monday to Thursday, 12.00am - 3.00pm every Friday to Sunday, dinner 7.00pm - 10.30pm daily. Bar: everyday 9.00am 12.00pm.
Sports & Leisure
In the hotel area guests can find a 200 sq metre gymnasium (with charge), 2 fitness studios (with charge), full size sand pitch, 1 km cross country track, indoor heated swimming pool, outdoor swimming pool, all weather Astroturf pitch, 3 tennis courts (with charge), treatment room, massage room, sauna, steam room, 2 outdoor changing rooms and 2 indoor changing rooms. If the clients pay for the gym (approx. 14/ per person per day), they will be able to use all the rest of the facilities for free.
