"I have travelled to many places but not Portugal and it exceeded all my expectations.
The accommodation was first class and I could not find fault with anything. I actually work for a Tour Operator so know how difficult it is to please customers, I was extremely pleased. There was a local market 15 minutes walk on a Wednesday and also a local train that took you into the Old Town. I was sorry that I had not booked this for 2 weeks. The service I received from Travel Republic from start to finish could not be faulted. Thank you very much"Top Tip:
"There was a beautiful beach approx 6 miles long and the restaurants along the beach were excellent. The marina which was 15 minutes walk had plenty of bars, restaurants and shops and there was always something to do."Clube Do Algarve Hotel check-in Date:

"The Hotel reception was not very welcoming and friendly with no help even with directions to the room and all the amenities were very basic. The bar was hardly ever open and the retaurant not at all. The hotel and rooms were very clean with daily maid service which was excellent. The actual location and directions to the Marina, beach etc... were complicated and taxis were needed for return journeys in the evenings as there was very little street lighting."
Top Tip:
"Grogans Bar was very welcoming and friendly and fantastic value for money. Best restaurant on the marina was the Mayflower, and the Hole in One Bar was excellent for late night entertainment."Clube Do Algarve Hotel check-in Date:

"little walk to the marina but a very peacefull and quiet appart hotel the staff were super very helpfull very clean and spaciuos appartment we had a lovely holiday we intend to go back in april 2009"

"My wife and I thought the hotel apartment was very spacious and everything there for a self catering holiday. The only thing we would like say though was that the beds were very hard and uncomfortable and therefore we would not recommend to anyone.Apart from that the grounds were well presented and very nice, and the staff were very friendly, helpful and polite."
