"The Hotel had clean modern lines, some might think rather sterile, but we enjoyed it. The airconditioning was ineffective in our first room, but were moved to another very comfortable room (with a better view).
The included buffet breakfasts provided a good start to the day.
Our only other complaint was the stoney surround round the swimming pool which was very hard on feet - Many others had the same comment."

"Excellent hotel with good location for local restaurants and access to main town and Harbour etc.Good local bus service. Very little night life within the near vicinity. Drink prices within Hotel and associated "Irish Bar" were high and meals were not good value for money - would recommend local Restaurants for Lunch/Dinner. Service within the Hotel good and rooms of a high standard."
Top Tip:
"Paradise Restaraunt - next door to Hotel - for lunch/Dinner. Red Lion pub - 10 minutes walk in direction of main town."

"The hotel was fine, ultra modern, some may even say it can appear a bit cold in its appearance. As the prices in the hotel were very high 14 Euro's in their hotel bat we oftern would simply retire to our balcony and have our pre dinner drinks there before heading out to the town for our dinner. The only downside to this was that the bars often were completely deserted given the hotel a slight gohst town feel.

The pool facilities were very nice and right by the sea which was a definite plus for us."
Top Tip:
"In terms of the restaurants there is an amasing Sushi restaurant called Tokyo Sushi, just turn left out of the hotel situated above some local shops. As an abbsolute sushi lover I can safely say it is better then any Suhsi restaurant in New York or London. They have a great deal where you can eat and sample as many different dishes for 15 Euros. Absolute bargain!

The CS Madeira Atlantic Resort and Sea SPA is located on the southern coast of Madeira on a spectacular ocean front location in lush landscaped sub-tropical gardens. The hotel is directly on the seafront and overlooks a stunning sea level platform featuring bars, restaurants and swimming pools, which are accessed by two elevators. The CS Madeira Atlantic Resort and Sea SPA is designed in a magnificent modern architecture style with maximum use of sea views and natural daylight throughout the public areas, guaranteeing an ocean view from nearly each area of the hotel. The hotel is located just 5 minutes to the centre of Funchal and only a 30 minute drive (18 km) to Madeira-s International Airport.
