The luxury apartments contain all someone needs to make his/her stay most comfortable during holidays in summer as well as in winter because Mar y Golf is situated in a natural enclave with the most hours of sun in Europe. A large and well maintained golf course acts as an ideal complement to an extensive beach, separated by a nice beachwalk from an urbanization with a complete tourist infrastructure and a wide diversity of services.

Accommodation

The 143 apartments are perfectly designed to provide a comfortable lifestyle. Each apartment is equipped with air conditioning, heating, satellite television, telephone, ironing equipment, microwave and coffee machine. There is also a selection between one or two bedroom apartments. The kitchen is fully equipped, including refrigerator and electric stove, just like all the other elements. Main room, sleeping rooms and fully equipped bathrooms are especially outfitted to provide functionality and absolute commodity. Cots and in-room safety deposit boxes are available at a supplemental charge, paid locally. The balconies provide an excellent sea or pool view. Daily room cleaning and laundry service, exchange of linens and towels two times a week. There is a minimum stay of three nights.

Food & Beverage

Taking breakfast in the hotel’s air conditioned restaurant is possible. A snack restaurant is available for a light meal (during high season). Should somebody wants to enjoy a drink or refreshment, there are both a bar and a pool bar offered. Guests should note; HB includes house wine, beer plus soft drinks.

Sports & Leisure

The pool area is shared with the Hotel Bellvista Mar which is part of the same complex. It includes a swimming pool and a children’s pool with a sun terrace, surrounded by a garden. At the disposal of guests, there are extensive sports facilities at leisure or supported by the best professional trainers. On the grounds, there is a heated indoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi, gymnasium, tennis (at a charge) and billiard. Nearby there are also nautical sports, fitness centre, horseback riding and golf. In all sports at all levels and ages at maximum quality. By its proximity to, Roquetas becomes an ideal place to enjoy a multitude of possibilities oriented towards leisure. For a break from all of this activity, guests can benefit from the giant screen satellite TV and video room and the video games room. Every day during the high season there is a diurnal and nocturnal entertainment program provided by the hotel’s animation staff, which includes, but is certainly not limited to; karaoke, live entertainment and parties. A play-area and a play-room for children are available, as well as an entertainment program specifically for the little ones during every day of the high season.

Mar y Golf has the most up-to-date installations, perfectly equipped. All public areas are heated/air conditioned. There are four lifts. The reception is open 24h a day, all the year, ready to help with access to the luggage store room and arrange a multitude of services that bring forward many opportunities for leisure, allowing one to explore the surroundings with the best comfort available. Services available include rent a car, rent a bicycle, excursions and provision of safes. Leaving vehicles in the inside/covered garage area with parking security is available at a charge or alternatively there is outdoor free parking area. Please note that dogs are allowed. The hotel has night security. Entrance to the apartments are from 16:00 onwards/departure at 10:00.

Worth noting are: the Aguadulce and Almerimar villages that also have yachting harbours, sports facilities and interesting tourist spots; the “Reserva Natural de Punto Entinas” where there is a rich and varied concentration of bird species, displaying a beautiful natural environment practically immersed into the urbanization; and, inherited from the Moslems, Roquetas de Mar conserves the “Torre del Castillo de Santa Ana”, a sheltered yachting harbour, based upon the fishing harbour, which offers numerous possibilities to those fond of water sports.

Mar y Golf is located just 300 m from the town centre and only the same distance from the beach, 37 km from Almeria aiport and 195 km from Granada airport. The province of Almeria (where Mar y Golf is located) has a perfect communications network, accessible from all Europe. The recently built motorways, airport (6 Km from town of Almeria), railway station and bus station establish a comfortable infrastructure at the service of visitors. Almeria is connected to Roquetas de Mar by a wide and comfortable road that has just been enlarged to avoid traffic jams. The distance between Almeria and Roquetas de Mar is 34 km. There are daily bus lines Almeria – Roquetas or taxi service. The railway station connects the province to some major cities of Spain, such as Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, Granada, Cadiz.
