"The Corona Del Mar Hotel is clean, comfortable and has consistently good food over the three years we have been there. Each year we see exactly the same staff in reception and in the dining room which is a positive indicator that management can effectively retain good staff. We celebrated a family birthday and the hotel provided champagne and a cake free of charge, which was a lovely touch.
Worth paying for a sea view room in winter months as on cooler days you can use the sunny balcony but shelter from a cool wind, plus the seaview beats looking out the back of the hotel.
There was noise from the adjacent hotel due to a refurbishment but it did not impact on our stay.
Would have no qualms in recommending this hotel to anyone wanting to be very near the Poniente beach and to the old town."Top Tip:
"Take the open top bus for a ride round the whole resort to get your bearings. The local markets are on a Wednesday morning and give a change of scenery."Corona Del Mar RH Hotel check-in Date:

"3rd visit food vastly improved on what was already quite good,spotlessly clean. unfortunately the building work on the hotel next door was very noisy and dusty around the pool.Entertainment dreadful -the singing duo has been there on each of our three visits and they are absolutely awful-must be related to the management."

"The hotel was absolutely fantastic. It was near the beach, which wasn't very nice but it was also only a few minutes walk from a gorgeous sandy beach. The hotel was spotless and the rooms were massive. Reception staff couldn't have been more helpful. The only problem we found with the hotel was that the guests were all a lot older than myself and my partner (both 20). The age range was 50+, but this was not a major problem. There were a few times when we felt that the variety of food was not amazing but all of the food was cooked well, presented well and hot, so again, no major problems. Would really recommend this hotel !!!!!"
