"Booked into Blaumar but when got there moved to Blaucel over the road so can not comment on original booked Hotel. Beds a little too firm for our liking. Rooms clean and tidy but no consumables replaced all week in bathroom also towels not changed. Room spacious and balcony roomy with table and chairs. Good choice of food but initially food cold but by end of week the staff had found out how to switch on food warmers so we started getting warm/hot food. Used quite a lot of salt when using griddle but a lot of fresh fruit available to compensate. kids loved the choice of deserts and indoor pool when weather not too good. staff helpful and friendly."

"The Hotel Blaumar was excellent. Rooms well appointed and a good size, most had balconys with good views. Slightly out of the centre of Blanes, but within walking distance which is very pleasant. If required though a Noddy Train does run by the Hotel. No complaints at all regarding meals, all very good and freshly cooked by the Chefs to order if required! Plenty of selection for even the fussiest of eaters. Bar areas spacious, drinks not badly priced, entertainment some evenings. Staff friendly. Suberb indoor/outdoor swimming pool, plenty of sunbeds while we where there. Thw whole area was kept very clean and tidy. Very enjoyable stay, would come back no problem!
Nothing negative to say about the actual Hotel itself, but it is a way from the main drag so to go out again at night meant a walk both ways or a taxi back. This could cause problems with a family."
