"Should have read the reviews on this hotel. Very lively with mixed groups of teenage football teams sing from the balcony until 4am using loud speakers. Kids throwing glasses from the balcony into the pool area. Did report it but several people had to cut their feet before the hotel took action. Shame!!
Staff polite but not interested when you complain. "We just work here" is all you will get.
Don't bother with the food they serve most of it cold for the German's. "Use the microwave if you want it hot" came the reply.
We and lots of other couples spent most of our remaining time away from the hotel and eat out.
Rooms small but very clean. Room cleaners knocking the door most days.
I'm up for a laugh and a bit of fun but never again at Esplai."

"First impression of the hotel was nice, a great reception and bar area, kept very clean and tidy.

Me and my partner booked a week at the Esplai Hotel.

We book all inclusive,

The Drinks were great, the soft drinks were pepsi, fanta, 7up ect... all real products, and not tampered with.

The alcohol was also spot on, pints were Estrella, you could get cocktails, shots ect...
You could however not get a pint, you were given half plastic cups, but were given two at a time if asked.

Most of the bar staff were friendly, but there was one or two ignorant members of staff.

The entertainment lads were fantastic and made the best of the facilities aswel. They were Dutch, but spoke perfect english and 4 other languages!

The rooms however were not very nice, they were some where you could put your head down to sleep and thats about it.
The tv was not in english, there was a big hole in the wall, the bathroom was dirty looking, with a damaged bath, and the shower you had to hold in your hand.
The blacony door was not every secure either.

I think this hotel makes it money out of hiring the top floor to schools, as there were two sets of german children staying on the floor above ours.

The food was not that nice, and very repative. I had soup on the nights i ate in the resturant. However the bar meals were nice, cheese and ham tosty, burger, chips or hotdog, but towards the end of the week the burgers and hotdogs were comming in slices of bread."

"The hotel esplai was much better than i expected. After reading the reviews I was quite worried about staying there, however on arrival the staff were friendly, the hotel was very clean and the food was also better than expected."

"should of stayed in espali hotel ,but wen we arrived we were met by hundreds of students which was not at all sutiable wen we had a 6 year old child with us my advice would be not to go to the esplai especially in june we were moved to bon repos which was much better"
