"if you are over fifty great hotel , not for the young or even english.the staff were not helpful at all, a lady had her handbag stolen in the dining room and noone would help her, in the end security put a poster up asking if anyone had seen anything. not helpful at all. we ending up eating out everyday as the food was terrible and cold even the salad had not taste!heated pool rubbish its heated by the sun as its on the roof. the hotel is smack in the middle of lloret if you want to use it as a base but would not recommend it, close to shops and restaurants but that is all this place has to offer"

"try el rancho restaurant in fenals absolutely great ,not expensive but service and food is great could not find fault. kids are welcome and well looked after nothing is too much trouble you can even alter the menu to suit yourself"Astoria Park Hotel check-in Date:

"The hotel itself was in a fab location, spotlessly clean and very quiet at night time, which believe me is unusual! The only issue I had with our hotel was that there was a building site straight across the road from the hotel which commenced work at 8am, with drilling from start to finish. Not only that you couldn't get sitting out on the balcony without workmen constantly making derragotory comments and staring over!
The food was OK, nothing great. The chef obviously catered for Germans with there being a few German dishes.
Apart from these issues overall the hotel was a clean, good location 3* hotel."Top Tip:

"I have stayed athis hotel on 2 previous occaisions it is superb value for money. TheStaff are tremendous and as for positioning you couldn't be better placed. Foodwise we were full board but did mix this with eating out. we always managed to find something amongst the array of dishes that was to our taste but the hotel does tend to cater more for German and Dutch guests, but then that is the majority of their guests. I would say try it and if you don't like th foodone night eat else where its not as if the full board has cost a great deal"
Top Tip:
"Top tip are the Indian restaurants 1 in Fenals and 1 in Lloret excelant both owned by the same family. Spain is noy noted for itspiciness but on this occaision I would say order the next curry down to what you would normally eat or ask for it milder than you would. There is a lso a superb chinese in Blanes. For travel money go to the western union exchange up by the Rockafeller disco and the Queen vic Pub best exchange in Lloret."Astoria Park Hotel check-in Date:
