"The hotel is situated in one of the less attractive places on the coast, the town offers very little, looks a bit rough.
We got a room on first floor overlooking what looks like a parking lot, and a very unattractive town. We asked to move and were declined.
The staff was friendly and helpful, the food was alright for what it was. The juice at breakfast were not natural, and other meals you had to buy drinks, even water.
The room smelled very strongly of impregnated smoke, despite us asking for a non smoking room."Top Tip:

"Very good hotel, especially suitable for families. Slightly remote from rest of resort (couple of blocks to the seafront)"
Top Tip:

"The hotel was excellent. Great pool area.
Rooms were adequate for 3*- clean and good sized
Staff were friendly although some at reception struggled to speak English
Breakfast was awful"Top Tip:

Hotel Details - Aqua Bella Playa Hotel
The Bella Playa Aqua Hotel is located only 250 meters from the beach and the main promenade of Malgrat de Mar. The hotel offers an ideal base for your holiday on the Costa Maresme. It is only 300 meters away from the nearest shopping centre.
Accommodation
The hotel consists of 270 rooms, all equipped with full bathroom, air conditioning, cable TV, safety deposit box (with extra charge), telephone and balcony. There are also 4 rooms suitable for disabled guests.
Food & Beverage
All meals provided in the restaurant are buffet service. The Bella Playa also has a snack bar / cafeteria.
Sports & Leisure
There are two outdoor swimming pools and a separate pool for children, as well as an indoor swimming pool (free of charge). The hotel has its own entertainment programme which offers international shows, flamenco, dancing with live music, etc. to enable guests to enjoy a pleasant stay.
