"Hotel is in the main Malgat Square at the Train station, the trains do rumble past and you do hear them. Our room was overlooking the square which was extremely noisy both on an evening and early morning. You could never have an early night or a sleep in!! The swimming pool was extremely cold in fact it was freezing and the area around it was small. Right outside through the underpass is the beach and in season (not October) there is a beach hut which serves drinks to the AI. The hotel itself was kept well and was clean, the cleaners in every day and clean towels and beds made every day, cleaner was very pleasant. The food was OK, not so sure what you was eating half the time, but there was always something you could find to eat. The entertainment was a disco on an evening and the music was quite dated, but the old ones liked it!!! In the bar you could only get served from one end, made you feel a little bit second class but never queeing very long. Kids would have liked a menu or at least to know what they were eating, no separate kids area. Potato dishes were mostly chips, I enjoyed not having to cook so that is all I think about.
We had four people in our room (two teenager kids) with it being October it was not too warm on the evening, but If it had have been it would have been unbearable, so this I would have to consider if I was to go again. On the whole, the food was OK the hotel was clean, the staff were OK. But it was Noisy, there was not many English in when we were there, majority of the guests were Spanish.

The AI drinks were served from 10am until 11pm, if you wanted a packed lunch you had to order this the previous day before 7pm. The snacks were not too good (chips reheated and rubbery) I would suggest you go for the lunch which was quite nice dishes and to be honest with you as good as the evening meals.

The food was constantly being topped up and never ran out of any of the dishes, never had stew type dishes using leftovers. Breakfast was predminantly the same each day with no variation.

There were plenty of seating areas and quiet areas for you to sit and relax (these were always empty but again probably due to the fact that it is October.

The safes are in a communal area and were charged at 4 euros a day plus a deposit so could work out quite costly.


These comments are in my honest opinion, so hope these will assist you when making a booking in this hotel. At the end of the day the holiday cost less than £1,000 for four of us for a week AI, so if I had have wanted top notch food I would have expected to pay far more than this."

"The hotel was great, right in the centre of Malgrat very close to bars, cafes, shops . The train station right out side the hotel where you can get the train to any other resort. There was plenty of choice for meals. We were allinclusive and there was plenty of Drinks to."
