"stayed s/c in a studio apt. quite roomy but basic. you have to do your own cleaning as mop, brush, bucket etc are supplied. also have to take your own rubbish (empties) out. not too much trouble as we just used the bags from the supermarket and there is a large bin on most street corners. noisy at weekends with barcelonians, but its their country! you will need a little bit of spanish to get by. overall a relaxing holiday without the "english bars""

"We arrived just after dark and the apartments looked very unwelcoming from the street, however once inside, reception was ok and a bar open until late. No facilities for buying basic requirements after 9pm in the local area. Our room was basic but functional, decor very tired. As the corridors are internal there was quite a lot of noise echoing around. kitchen area was poorly equipped. The cleaners never came except the day before we left and only made the bed, no clean towels or rubbish removed. No bins around to put it in. As my Spanish is very limited and this appears to be a very Spanish area, did not feel comfortable complaining. On the positive side,the apartments have a large clean pool, mini golf, and are very close (2 min stroll) to a beautiful beach and the clearest (if slightly chilly) part of the med sea I have seen. Would probably not stay here again."

"A reasonably quiet hotel although you could hear some noises from other guests. The pool was nice and there was always a sun lounger free (in the first two weeks of September)."

"This is the second time I have used this accommodation and for a second time I was not disappointed. You just cannot get better facilities for the cost anywhere in the area. Another excellent stay and I will use this accommodation on further visits."

"This hotel carries a dual function of offering self-catering as well, although the facilities for that are basic. It offers budget accommodation, which is therefore serviceable but not particularly comfortable. For example, the shower curtain across the bath regularly fell down as it was held on by suction only and it was not possible to alter the function to run a bath either.

It is a noisy environment as well, which doesn't help if you have a young family. We had some revelling football fans staying when we were there and only utter exhaustion allowed me to sleep at all. In addition the late dining times and comparatively early breakfast constitutes another problem for young families and is much more suitable for adults. Food was reasonable but lacking in variety: for example, pomme frites (as opposed to actual chips) appeared on the menu every single day.

I certainly was glad to move on but I think that this could be a reasonably fun place to stay for robust, single people who do not mind a bit of discomfort or noise."
