"The Coral Platja was an excellent hotel. Staff friendly and efficient, buffet food offered good variety, room clean and comfortable, location ideal. The value was superb (in October 2008) and we will certainly try and go again. Can definitely recommend it."

"Well appointed hotel ideally positioned for beach and promenade.

Very clean throughout with happy staff.

Food plentiful but main courses a little dull and tasteless.

Overall good value for money. Would go again."

"This hotel is typically spanish. it's not too big but it's not boutique... The staff did a great job of dealing with all our requests. They were very polite and knowledgable of the surrounding areas. The rooms are standard but we paid extra for a sea view which was well worth it. There are two ends to Roses. Old town and resort. Depends what you want but this hotel is in the middle of both so you could have the best of both worlds. The beach is long and sandy with some small pebbles but go to St Marti de Empuries and find beautiful long golden sandy beaches with hardly anybody there. A real find. And of course don't miss Cadaques and Port Lligat - just stunning...
Hard to pick holes in Roses or Coral Platja Hotel."

"For a gettaway beach try St Marti de Empuries - only 20 mins away."

Coral Platja is a completely refurbished hotel respecting its colonial style, located on the beach front and only 300 metres from the center of the town of Roses on the Costa Brava.

Accommodation

The hotel consists of 167 comfortable rooms all equipped with full bathroom with hair dryer, satellite T.V., direct-dial telephone, air conditioning and heating, mini bar and safety deposit box at an extra charge.

Food & Beverage

The restaurant offers a full buffet service, the buffet restaurant offers a weekly selection of themed regional and international menus, as well as a dietary variation.

Sports & Leisure

A highlight is the hotels entertainment programme for adults and children that fills July and August with fun and games. The quality programme identifies Prestige Hotels as a chain with excellent service and care for their guests.

Facilities & Services

Internet corner/ wifi service, cots and car parking spaces can be hired from the the hotel reception. There is a garden area with direct access to the beach. Guests should note pets are not allowed.
