"This is a lovely smallish hotel with warm, friendly staff and relatively good food for those on half-board (not masses of choices but good quality and fresh). Rooms are fairly spacious, bathrooms clean - furnishings are simple but everything is immaculate. We had a fantastic view of the bay.
Although rated a 4* some people might consider this to be a 3.5 star (there is a laughably small gym and a small amount of in-hotel entertainment which was pretty dreadful). However, because it is so well run, with all the staff we came across happy and helpful, the rooms and recreation areas well maintained, then it does it's 4 star status.
There is a bit of a trek up a hill from the beach - but both my parents in law managed (one who is 74 the other nearly 70), and there is not much in S'agaro (a few beachside restaurants, a tabac, supermarket and a couple of shops and eateries on the main road) - but there are busier towns and resorts a short drive away. If you want a buzzing resort and crazy nightlife neither the resort or the hotel would be for you. The beach is really clean and relatively safe for swimming - there are also some fantastic postal walks along the peninsula.
We loved S'agaro and would definately go back. We would definately stay at this hotel in preference to other more expensive hotels in the resort - unless we could afford the 5* Gavina."

"Very child friendly, large spacious room, fantastic views across bay from pool area.
Food was of good quality but became quite repetitive.
Childrens club was not open although there were a lot of children staying at the hotel.
The walk down to the fantastic beach was short but the trek back is very steep."
