"The hotel was good with nice rooms and views of the sea, staff friendly. A little out of town, not a problem in the summer if you only need the pool and sun, however, for any other activity you do need a car. A good chance of a conference out of season, for us one night they did close the restaurant to hotel guests. If you are full/half board your only option in a 16 mile round trip by your own car to the other hotel in the chain. The food was good and mostly hot to warm, breakfast is a different story, they have scrambled or fried or boiled eggs available but they are served stone cold and not be replaced when gone, so you have a need to be first in for breakfast if you required something warm."

"Had read comments on other sites that the staff were unfriendly. We found most of the staff to be professional and efficient. In such a big hotel you don't expect them to be matey. However, we stayed on a half-board basis and found that although the food was ok, the organisation, especially at breakfast, was pretty poor. Not enough cups, glasses, etc and food spilt on the floor and not cleaned up so that one guest almost slipped over. Coffee was from a machine! Not what you'd expect from a hotel like this."

"The restaurant staff were a bit 'off' with us, they were more concerned with other guests that were staying in the hotel with regards to 'conventions'. The food was ok but limited. The hotel was very nice and was kept in a clean state. There was not very much entertainment laid on."
