"Excellent hotel, fisrt class, very clean. Staff extremely helpful. Food plentiful and good variety - enjoyed some of the local specialities! Entertainment varied, first of our stay very good but the last night -"Miss Aquamarina" - did our best to advoid this!
For the money we paid unbelievably good value. Shame we only had 2 days of sun tho!"Top Tip:
"5 min walk to station for trip into Barcelona.Trains run every half hour and for just over 6 euro return its a bargain especially if the weather isn't up to sitting by the pool!
Lovely journey along the coast through little towns seeing some typically Spanish scenery. Takes just over an hour so well worth a visit."Aqua Aquamarina Hotel check-in Date:

"Excellent Hotel, evening meals could be slightly more 'British' based, but no complaints at all. Genuine first class hotel. All the Travel Republic arrangements worked well."
Top Tip:
"Beware of pickpockets on the local railway station, they travel in two's and work the line between Santa Susanna and Blanes/Barcelona. Also, check your railway tickets very carefully, when buying them at Santa Susanna, we were caught with two tickets to Barcelona, one of which was palmed off to us a local journey. We had to pay twice! Also make sure you validate your tickets before trevelling, a 50 euro fine if you don't!"Aqua Aquamarina Hotel check-in Date:

"Great Hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Excellant value for money. Ideally situated for all types of holiday, wether just sitting by the pool/beach, exploring the coast or inland, shopping and eating.
Food in the hotel was good, but could have had warmer hotplates, but if you want to have hotter food a microwave is situated in the restaurant."Top Tip:

Hotel Details - Aqua Aquamarina Hotel
The Aquahotel Aquamarina hotel is a modern complex with a singular architectural construction, located just 100 m. from the beach, on the Sea front Promenade of Santa Susanna. It is a huge complex which may appeal to all kinds of travellers. All rooms were renovated in 2003 and the room amenities include air conditioning, satellite TV, central heating, fully equipped bathroom with hair dryer, terrace, telephone and most of the rooms have sea view or pool view. It offers many alternatives in activity holidays, such as aerobics, tennis, multisport pitch, etc. All meals are served in the buffer restaurant and there is also a snack bar pizzeria. One of the best services the hotel offers is a full entertainment programme with shows, dancing, contests for the whole family and there is also a wide entertainment programme for children which includes games, sports, arts, crafts and mini-disco. The complex features a commercial area, children-s playground, games room, gym, sauna, TV lounge and cinema room. The distance from Barcelona airport is 59km and from Girona airport 31km.
