"Hotel itself was fine, food was OK too, service was above average.

On the down side, it was a very small pool. And the evening entertainment was geared towards those of more advanced years!"

"Location and Hotel ok, resort we liked with good restaurants and beach if you want it. Rooms were small and the TV was very average, but Don Angel Hotel staff excellent particularly in the bars and the restaurant. Various acts around the pool at night."
Top Tip:
"Use the trains and buses to travel around, they are clean, air conditioned and a quarter of the price of the UK."

"The hotel is perfectly placed in the centre of the resort and close to the beach. Food was good spanish style dishes. The place is clean and well tended. The staff are friendly. Evening entertainment is very good and has a variety of age groups having a fab time. Ovrall, not the usual 'basic' spanish hotel - it is so much better. I spent a week there with my partner and went back a month later with my two daughters - both times with travel republic. Had a wicked time on both occasions and we all plan to go again!"
Top Tip:
"Would recommend the station - a super english bar not far from the hotel. Also the kebab house on the beach - great lunchtime snacks and kids entertainment in the evening."

Hotel Details - Don Angel Hotel

The Don Angel Hotel is just 300 metres from the beach and close to all the shops, bars and restaurants in Santa Susanna, The town sits between the ocean and a steep ridge of beautiful wooded hills. The beach at Santa Susanna has a range of activities including windsurfing, a water ski school and even canoes, the beach also has its own lifeguards. Lloret de Mar, the lively tourist capital of the Costa Brava, is 10 miles to the north east.
